Wind season legendaries in a nutshell: they hate Hrid
I didn’t realize at first just how many wind legendaries hate Hrid, like it’s almost weird at this point LMAO
Wind season is so weird because IS designs it to have some very unique blend of support, offense and defense where units end up having their kits obsolete so much faster, and can require high investment for them to be usable. Water season feels like powercrept Wind because the Legendaries trade off the third role for better support or better nuking potential and have longer shelf life.
I agree, I couldn’t believe just how weird everyone is, it makes Water Season look like a different game lol

I love using L!Micaiah I have her at +10 with a modern kit (Flare, Atk/Res Unity, Special Spiral, TP4) but I still can't deny that she belongs in E tier I'm really looking forward to her refine and I hope both of her pref skills get updated over giving her a new skill, L!Marth got this treatment so I hope she gets the same.
I would be happy with Desperation 4, -1 self damage, piercing + DR with conditions similar to D!Sanaki and in general just bump her stat bonuses up.
Her assist skill just needs a strong effect tacked on to it similar to something like Heidr combine that with skills like ploy 4 and she serves as a strong hybrid unit who is strong even without seeing combat.
Those are great ideas, I also hope she gets an amazing refine…she has such pretty art so it’s a shame she’s not as good!

You forgot to mention the Armored Beacon type of unpierceable DR when listing the things that make Vero struggle. Funnily enough, those were created to hard-counter Legendary Veronica, who would otherwise just destroy any unit that she outspeeds, which included most Far Saves up to that point.
Great point. I forgot Armored Beacon was that close to L!Veronica. It’s crazy how we think things that are insane become so irrelevant so quickly…it’s a shame too bc I really like L!Veronica’s design lol

Elincia’s been doing pretty well with alts lately good for her😊
As someone who got a +10 L Eliwood by accident I was quite happy with his remix/refine sad to see that he’s fallen of this quickly but I still use him now and then.
Micaiah has lovely art but yes she is so hard to use I really hope she gets “something” good in the future but who knows, ironically my L Myrrh and her anti warping helped me clear Elincia’s Legendary battle with ease.😅
Micaiah’s art is actually so pretty, it’s definitely my favourite thing about her LOL such good art for such a…not good unit

I think so far the main thing you are overlooking is how range and threatening opponents works with Rallies in arena. Units like Gunnthra/LSigurd will threaten a large amount of space which causes opponents to rally before moving and can allow you to isolate matchups. It's kinda hidden support value that goes unnoticed.
Something I think to consider for legendary tier lists anyway. Another thing is Offensive Warp is deactivated to some degree by Myrrh which makes +1 specifically better in Wind season.
Oftentimes I would much rather have a unit with high mov and mediocre combat than 1 or 2 move and great combat.
You have some great points. Range is super amazing, but because it’s so good and we keep getting ranged nukes, I actually started to value it less lol. Not because I think it’s bad, but moreso because I’m future looking and I value things that are both good and unique. We will always get another Ninja Corrin (see Ninja Sanaki, Winter Yunaka, etc) but I’m not sure if we’ll get another unit like L!Elincia again.
And the point on Myrrh, she was actually higher in initial drafts of the script for the very reason you mentioned. But it was hard for me to say she’s as good as Corrin or Yuri, and that’s why I put her there, but she’s definitely the most useful of the bunch and I can see arguments for putting her higher.
And funny enough, I would actually prefer a good combat unit with less range than a ranged unit that sucks in combat lol. We have things like Guidance that can easily supplement range but every unit has a ceiling to the amount of combat buffs you can supplement. I don’t think you’re wrong at all though, we just have different philosophies and you gave me a lot to think about! Great points!
@@ENEMii-IRL yeah for sure everything is subjective. The main thing is ranged on a legendary unit or a Duo unit is different than a Yunaka. You will never see Yunaka in arena. Like LElincia is definitely the best Wind Legendary that's inarguable I feel. But I think Gunnthra I would prefer over Hrid or LLyn or LSigurd over quite a few units. LSigurd you have to build to make him good but once you do he has serviceable combat. Like in just the context of arena I think he is more useful than units like LEliwood whose requirements can actually really hurt if you don't invest in units to make him useable at all. Maybe his performance outside of arena drags him down but that's about it. Conversely, I actually would avoid using an LCorrin in arena if I had other options, but I definitely think she is more valuable in ARO.
I don't have much opinion on wind legendaries since i don't have much. But damn i really could've wished i had L!Elincia. It's so painful to play summoner duels with no guidance support😭 (yes somehow i have missed every hero that has guidance 4 or soaring guidance)

Perfect tier list, as a LSigurd user, I can tell you that I would rather use any other legendary in my barracks(LLilina, LNanna, LMByleth) unless it's wind season... he can contribute, but you have to basically galaxy brain to use him effectively like killing this weak nuke to proc +1 movement on the rest of the team so they can reach and kill the rest, hopefully they give him canto in his refine or make Near Far trace 4 asap because he really needs it.
Yeah as you mentioned, the LYuri vs LVeronica debate was lopsided back then in favor of Veronica, and I always defended the Ashen Wolves leader because of his versatility(I mean he's kinda like LChrom so...) LVeronica was more impactful in AR-D but other than that LYuri was just miles better especially since he benefited from the speedcreep introduced in the khadein banner that same year unlike LVeronica, I think LYuri is another case of people belittling a unit for what they don't have instead of what they do have, in this case LYuri lacked Time pulse so in many people's eyes he was considered just a "slightly" better Yuri(common consensus), a similar case happened to BDimitri and BEdelgard on release: BDimitri was better because he has a DC weapon, BEdelgard is less good because she doesn't, PM1 even recommended BDimitri as the best option because of community feedback, and you know how that ended: weeks later BDimitri was considered the worst CYL4 unit while BEdelgard was considered the best, this didn't happen with LVeronica who was on a class on her own with little to criticize about, that + AHR bias just put her as the best wind legendary in most tier list.
LElincia is just too much, as much as I love LYuri, she's as of now the best wind legendary for sure.

You make some great points about Yuri - he’s actually my fave so I was already on copium hoping he would good LOL. And yeah the community does have it’s fair share of misses every once and a while.
I love Yuri so much but nobody can ignore how amazing Elicina is…I fear the day they make a Wind Legendary better than her LMAO

I know you didn't look at scoring, but it makes L!Sigurd even more frustrating. I want to use quickened pulse with him to guarantee that he gets his special off. But that seal scores quite poorly. And with the amount of NFU in arena, it's pretty common to not activate his special even when he initiates. I haven't played around with him with the distant counter seal yet, so maybe there's some hope for him there.
Haha I actually recorded a section about the QP seal but cut it bc I was worried Sigurd’s part was too long! I agree with all your points…I’m not even sure if the DCm deal would help him out bc he might die before he can counterattack lol
Having Elincia on wind season is just free crowns. I was so happy when I got on my 3rd summon on her banner. And the fact that you don't even have to have her at high merge to get good use out of her is insane. Also the fact that she has slaying on top of a dual phase brave is just too overpowered.
A +0 L!Elincia is scarier than any L!Guinivere…congrats on that luck! She’s an incredible unit to have in your barracks!
I summoned for a legendary micaiah cause I like the art but when I used her , I realized quickly that apart from effective damage, her kit does not really work well.
Her art is amazing…it’s definitely the best about her lol. Maybe she’ll get an amazing refine!
I like how you contrasted the Fall of Legendary Sigurd to the correlation of guidance prevalence, which is true! Sigurd was absolutely broken on launch and was super super impactful to the meta.. but now... that's how far power creep has become.
I will say a very powerful well built legendary lyn can be an issue to deal with, but you're right that on average, she's pretty trash. Even the fact she has to run duel G in order to score is also severely gimping her for arena. I do very disagree on L!Eliwood just because he's a menace in SD supporting raid bosses and his refine really removed a lot of issues he had supporting (panic) and also granted units Canto(1), which isn't a lot, but helps ranged units that don't have that option.
Corrin's refine has definitely put her up to A or S tier for me. The idea of a double brave unstoppable mitigation in the form of an almost always active Aegis is preeeeeetty unique. Her biggest issue is she's probably not as useful in Arena as she should be given her range.
Also did you vote Elincia for CYL 8 Ahahhahahaha, I feel like those are the vibes going on here.
But yes, Elinicia is very good and her support utility is perfect for arena as well performing so many tasks and allowing a lot of flexibility and mobility, which is super necessary nowadays!

Well there’s a certain dragon without shoes that doesn’t mind Brave as much! But yeah, there’s a reason why Brave is the best effect in the game lol
The powercreep in this game killed it for me.
This game is best played for the favourites…even though I talk about the meta, I never summon for it lol. Faves is the best way to play!
The only thing I would slightly disagree is underevaluating +1 mov in general. I agree that Guidance 4 and the likes is truly a powerful skill, and that will probably never age; BUT, but, in order to use it well, the units need to be in the ideal tiles, which isn't always possible, whereas +1 mov is active right from the start and it can also have synergy with other skills such as clash (I know warping does too, I'm just saying it's fairly easier to use more mov) and galeforce, and it doesn't need a beacon. Guidance is truly a god tier skill, but I think it's bad to hyperfixate on it so much you end up underevaluating other (as good) skills/buffs
I would argue that if your units aren’t in the ideal tiles to use Guidance, then it’s even less likely they’d get where they want to go with +1 move either. Obv it’s not a hard rule but in general Guidance support just lets you reach further than +1 move. It also lets you bypass things like trenches, forests and makes armors actually playable in Arena lol whereas +1 can’t even compare in that regard, Guidance reimagines what we thought possible in this game. You do make some great points though, I can see the arguments for valuing +1 move more!
Gatekeeper isn't the only other source of anti-warping anymore, Ratatoskr's Divine Vein does it too

I also specify that him and Myrrh are the only ways to passively stop warping, which is true - I consider Rat an active but not passive way to stop warping since she needs to attack something for her terrain
Even before I clicked on the video I knew LLyn was gonna be at the bottom, I remember even at release she was considered one of the worst Legendaries ever

Honestly I never have trouble vs elincia, at least not in SD, she’s pretty mid in that mode.
Sigurd is my favorite FE character so it pains me to see him fall so hard, Tea Sigurd is still pretty good at least due to his better safety to activate his +1 movement….. hopefully L!Sigurd will get a nice remix/refine so he doesn’t feel so mid to use
L!Siguard has such amazing art so I’d love to see him get a great refine…you must be pretty happy knowing an Emblem Siguard will definitely happen!

You are not wrong about things you say but I'd still try to make my L!Sigurd +10 from already being +3 so far and I don't care how is he performing for now I$is forced to make Sigurd a Seliph senior because Sigurd is the best!

Tellius myhtics and legendaries and wind legendaries in general are so bad, yet Elincia somehow manages to be one of the best units in the current meta. Not only in Arena, but in every mode

You better put Roy in C tier or higher. I know he’s aged badly but he’s not the worse unit.

I will say I think myrrh should be higher because she’s a scorebot that blocks warping in elincia season. Her combat is non existent but play wind season with myrrh and elincia vs without myrrh against other myrrh and elincia teams.

@@ENEMii-IRL you’re right! I think the main thing is who is actually worth pulling and merging to use as a wind legendary. Myrrh is not that unit and wasn’t even on her debut. She just got lucky the only wind legendary worth max merging gets countered by her.

@@celestial-17There’s 13 Wind legends while there’s only 11 Earth ones so going by the numbers alone though I feel like maybe Wind…but there’s a lot of bad ones in Earth too lol. Lots of bad ones to avoid in both seasons. When I’m done with the Earth Legendaries Tier List we can find out for sure :P
