I'm a simple guy. I like Roy, so I +10 him with finish 4, close call 4, and vital astra him and now he wrecks stuff.
Nah dude even though I love roy, he sucks DC weapon refines like 80% of them are trash and roy can't keep up with the speed of the newer units and also lucia exists
@@muffin7735 i dunno man. He does fine for me as someone who +10 him recently. He works really well with Kid Lucius who i gave him infantry nfu. So Roy has +6 to all stats and nfu with Kid Lucius.

Definitely agree with Oblivion on Brave Ike. He has no place trying to Omnitank nowadays, but with Gambit and Aether, and some other love, I honestly think he's a B-C unit melee tank. Unless godswords have DR piercing, they even tend to struggle two rounding him, in my experience. But it's understandable to say he's had a big falling off regardless.

@@phoenixblade8315 Omnitanker is tough to use in all honesty but props for making it work as well as it can, I have one at +5 but he only has a NCD DC build thats not good anymore and no DF's sp I have to invest in him to make him work as a near save with soren

Fun tier list, I like the Oblivianknight tacho duo its fun. My only take is Ephraim on his release and refine was pretty decent. He had that awesome wary heals followup combo. But then bedel refine happened a year after..... thats when it went down hill
Watching Brave Alm slowly go down on these is sad. Definitely agree that he's slowly falling and that AR-O with AOE is his main use case, but still sad to my first ever 5 star +10 falling off like this
I think either the lack of canto or lack of dr is kind of what does it. Even with a bunch of supports being able to offer canto 1 it’s just not enough for hit and run, and not having dr means he has to go in, nuke something, then be a sitting duck to just get executed on enemy phase.

My two fav FEH youtubers doing colabs is always interesting and fun to watch.
I agree with almost everything, solid placements all around, but I would like to share some thoughts:
- B!Micaiah at +10 with G Duel Flying 4 + Sabotage A/R 4 + Guidence 4 + Aerobatics SS puts a ton of work for me in Arena, to the point my runs are 100% easier since I got her forma from the RD HoF rerun. Double effectiveness cannot be underestimated, and if you add debuff + movement support she becomes a really solid unit even after so many years since release. She can also bait magic units if you know your matchups so that certainly adds value to a PP+support unit. She's just that good imo. I honestly would rate her up to S but maybe I'm biased from my experience using her.
- B!Lyn I would rate higher only on TACHO's tier list. Arcane Darkbow can be used with Flared Sparrow + Lull Spd/Def 4 + C Feud and she becomes fairly competent at max investment, so D seems kinda harsh for me. I wouldn't rate her highter than B still, so C for me.
Since her release Marianne has been my main unit that I have used and loved and so I was so worried her refine was gonna be shit and not helpful but she’s got such an amazing one and I’m so happy with it, her and brave F Corrine right now are my favs to use they might not be as good as Soren or Robin but they are so fun
she is quite mediocre
Guy's from the video I get the feeling that Alear fixes everyones problems and is a pretty strong unit, I dunno might just be me. All jokes aside, great video from you two!!!

After some thinking in retrospect, I do think that Brave Eirika has quite a bit of potential as a superunit to specifically counter superunits that exploits on bonus doubler, with the biggest offender being Lucia. Her weapon provides so much stats that she could straight up overpower a lot of the superunits with it. That also meant that she would have to ditch her personal B skill for something else, such as Gambit for more defensive solidity. In that sense I do think she has a future, just that it is kind of different compared to pre-refine.
I can't come up with anything pertaining to Brave Marth though. So yeah his refine stinks.

brave claude in B tier hurts but is understandable 😭 my claude works super well but only at max investment. base brave claude is rough but when he's actually worked on he can be pretty great (i agree the only half NFU and focus on deep wounds in the weapon refine SUCKS)
Awesome vid. Loved the tier lists. I'd like your opinion on a B.Dimitri build i saw a few days ago and thought it seemed very good. Aether, Atk/Def finish, Gambit, Spd smoke (I'd prefer Atk smoke), and atk/def form. Will Gambit be the new and improved version of BLR or will it still be relevant even now?
I do think gambit can be better than BLR in a lot of cases, but you still retain a lot of weaknesses such as sweep or struggling to double.

i feel like not enough people understand how bad brave marths refine is, null guard is basically useless with times pulse or spiral and the 40% dr also goes against his vantage one-shot playstyle, if only they didnt refine cyl so early, a simple null panic over null-guard and easier conditions wouldve elapsed this refine.

When he was talking about how his gulvieg was blowing up +10 corrins 🤣 and just comparing his list to oblivion hes a harsh critic, but its very great to see. I was wondering, would solid ground be better than atk/def finish on Dimitri? I know solid ground reduces your res but like, he'll have a million defense so he might not care lol. And then you can stack it with a fortress seal to give him even more def
His refine counts all of his defense buffs, so in combat buffs count too. So atk/def finish would be better so you don’t lose out on res.
A maxed out B!Marth is still ridiculously strong, strong enough to basically auto play most lunatic maps. Just take everything from Fallen Byleth's kit and put it on him. Close call works well on him because it lets you run in, proc special (Usually kill), and then fall back to a space where putting a unit within two spaces is safe and easy. Most of the time the only support you really need is L! Azura or some way to get null panic on him. Worst case scenario you get one unit in 2 spaces of him and the other units who's bonuses he's using are all the way in the back with Ashera. Nukes don't really matter because vantage. Even if you arent running Null C he's as much of a stat ball as his legendary counterpart as his weapon gives 16 to all stats consistently, he has visible bonuses on all stats, he's usuing bonus doubler, and he has 1-3 layersnof DR. He's not dying.

this makes me want a "teach" mechanic where heroes can teach skills to heroes without losing them.
it would be an aether resort building where a hero can teach a hero and it would take the whole aether season to train (inheritance restrictions apply)
to monitize it you could teach 1-2 heroes and feh pass holders can teach 4-5.
I feel like Dimitri deserves atleast SS personally, just because (unless I'm the only one seeing them) Duo Chrom, L!Hinoka and like 20 flavors of Godsword are everywhere and he just shuts them down (and he works very well on a number of other units).

The b!Claude in b tier hurtsssss. Personally I think he could go in A tier because his tanking surprisingly does work quite well so he could position a bit more forward with guidance knowing he can a take a hit or 2.

Honestly, as crazy as the Spd creep is, Corrin really doesn’t have an issue with that, at least not right now. Any speedy unit in the game is gonna have problems keeping up with the Spd creep, so docking her for that while ignoring that same issue for others is a bit disingenuous. Plus, her main utility has nothing to do with Spd, and everything to do with the synergy between her Vein, Armored Floe, and Counter Roar. Yes she has trouble with piercing, but last I checked, Armored Floe is supposed to be immune to that, and she has some additional flat DR as well, and inflicts -16 Atk/Spd during combat. While Spd creep is certainly a concern, as it is for basically anyone with a base Spd higher than 40, I don’t think it’ll hurt her as much as it will others because of the stats she gets and the support she can get, and there are numerous ways to deal with precharged Deadeye’s and Lethalities, which effectively removes any concern over ability to deal with piercing.

Honestly I’m not really a big fan of brave Soren, cuz I usually have lucia and brave corrin in my team for defense, then having brave Soren would’ve kill my offense units like brave gullveig or wind tribe claude
B!Celica would be a lot better with a WoM seal IMO

I agree with most placements on the lists. But there are definitely some I don't really agree with or just want to say a few words about.
Personally I'd have B!Alm at the end of S Tier, and that's mostly because of the AoE Galeforce niche Oblivion mentioned. Like Oblivion I still use him regularly in AR because of that. He isn't the only unit that's able to run those builds anymore. But he's still the frontrunner when it comes to that niche and still to this day one of the very best Galeforce initiators in my opinion. Although as a nuke in SD he's definitely fallen off. He still packs quite a punch with the right build. But his lack of Canto makes him not as great for that mode.
I think B!Marianne should absolutely be in SSS Tier in my opinion. Just a couple of days ago I would have probably agreed with her being in SS Tier. But just yesterday I ran some sims on the current ranged nukes and among the units I sim'ed she actually came out in fourth, just after Alcryst, L!Veronica and L!Alm. On top of that she's also currently one of the best Galeforce units available.
Next is B!Lucina. But not for the reasons you might think. This only applies to Tacho's list, since Oblivion doesn't take Arcane weapons into account. I've done a ton of sims on omnitanks, and funnily enough she's actually one of the best omni tanks right now, thanks to some of the most recent skills like Atk/Spd Pledge. With Atk/Spd Pledge she can loop GLR while also using Arcane Luin (also agree Luin is the best Arcane weapon we've got so far).
Tacho's B!Dimitri placement is just wack. I agree with Oblivion here. He was kinda falling off a bit, then IS gave us new skills like NCD4 and Gambit 4 and bumped him right back up there again. I'll kinda paraphrase Joel/Fehology here a bit. If you want to use him nowadays, just ditch BLR entirely and run any of the other DR B Slots that are available right now. Even tier 4 Dodge skills are far better on him nowadays. One of his defining traits as an omnitank, compared to his competition is how insanely well he scales with supports. This is also where I disagree with Oblivion as well, since Spd builds still are his best builds. If he just gets a couple more points of Spd through mythic buffs or supports he turns into an indestructible monster. While at the same time every few points of Res matter so much more on him, because of the way his multiple layers of DR work. And of course I don't think I need to mention why increasing his Def is good. Although I'd prioritise his Spd and Res over his Def nowadays.
Lastly we have B!Claude. He's just such a weird unit to me. His whole refine feels all over the place for me. Parts of his refine scream that he wants to be a nuke, while other parts say he wants to be a tank. When it comes to the other losers of their respective batch it was pretty clear that IS wanted their refines to be bad. But Claude just feels awkward.
Also just a small sidenote for B!Seliph. Unlike B!Alm or B!Marianne he doesn't get his true damage on AoEs.
