Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics both have to keep their A1C readings within glycemic range, and if you're doing well at managing your diabetes, then that means your A1C is within glycemic range. Plenty of diabetics, especially Type 1's, can have a healthy A1C and eat what they want. Now, go find the deep end of a pool somewhere. It's all you're good for.
