Animal Well - Finale & Ending

- The final encounter in Animal Well and the credits when you beat the game, although there are many secrets to find (I've only found slightly over half the eggs) and given the locked room in the house there might be more of an ending when all the secrets are found.
Overall this is a fun little puzzle game that lasts for several hours, especially if you're trying to find everything. There's a few minor bugs I encountered (one of which stopped me from getting the ostrich flame for a good while), but nothing too serious. I had hoped to do the finale in one go after meandering the first time but some things were already activate coming back to it.

The little gasp of air before that… thing starts chasing you is so chilling
I was using the lamp the entire time for this and wondering why this creature wasn't even trying to hurt me. Never did the laser eyes one time because I guess the lamp stops it from doing that. It was maybe a little too easy with the lamp but still satisfying to see the ending fresh when I did.

That breathing at the start knocked me out of my chair
When I saw three whole pages of “ARG Solvers,” dread filled my heart. It took at most 45 people trying to solve one game to solve its story, and probably with the help of the creator. Absolutely bonkers.
That just goes to show how invested folks were and how much they enjoyed the game. I'm nowhere near that level of commitment but I can understand how others would be with how fun the game is.
Ending? Thats just the start!
Very true considering the number of secrets.
I got all the eggs and all the items and just got the other ending......I'm literally watching the other ending now wondering if I'm supposed to do something lol

That was dope, kinda wish the lantern didn't trivialize the fight, but I still love this ending
Does the lantern do anything for the fight? I didn't really notice anything when I tried it but saw the firecrackers would scare off the creature for a bit and I relied on them.

I activated the firework show without summoning the Manticore, and now the firework box is permanently shut. Does that mean I can't get the achievement?

This is only the basic ending. There are so many, many more secrets as the game really begins at that point.

@@MrBorderdownmaybe he just think its pointless. games like this who depend solely on easter eggs and dedicated players dont have anything else to offer. its not like you are going to replay it like other games, just watch someone else play it since you are not missing much.. difficulty isnt the problem, its just that its one of those games that feel like a chore
