- For Keahi, kitesurfing has become an extension of surfing and a way to spend as much time in the ocean as possible. It’s a tool that turns windy sessions into a whole new world of fun.
It’s an obsessive addiction that has led him to drop everything when a forecasted big swell appears on the horizon and scramble into planning to make it there. 2019 marked the beginning of a journey to go in search of some of the best waves on the planet.

Underappreciated is correct. The sport is expensive & coastal. Most interested in taking up the sport are either like me who just bought a complete set yet stuck inside of city life anticipating the travels to go take up the sport stuck watching videos or are the people who take interest in it but are too preoccupied with doing it to watch TouTube videos. kind of a win win but as for views, city populaces avoid things that make them envious & are the mass majority of viewers.

What a beast!
One of the best kitesurfing movies I have seen. As a kitesurfer, and not a kiteboarder, most kiting films are of no interest to me. This one is different. Keahi, you rip dude, thanks for getting this out there for all to see what kiting really can be!

@@MrMarceloAntunes It varies depending on the conditions but mostly between 8 and 11. A 10m is usually my most used size
How about surfboards? Were those Tomos shapes in the firewires?
@@alexhemingway6549 A few different shapes in there. Mostly the omni from the tomo shapes which I love in hollow barrels

Best surf vid that I've seen in a long time! Keahi's got such great style, flawless technique, and amazing tube riding skills! I've never been exposed to kite surfing like this, so It was a pleasure to watch the different lines being drawn, stalls, bottom turns, and speed boosts garnered from the kite. I also liked how there were only a few slow motion clips, full wave clips from start to finish, and that the vid focused on surfing.

You have one of the best fluent styles of any kite surfer in the world i knew when i sailed with you in the Aus surf nationals you were going places and look at you now! such an inspiration to myself and many kite surfers around the world.

Awesome video, Keahi and team! The videography is incredible! Would love to see something like this edited to a 45 min - 1 hr format with more commentary about the locations and some video from the local community. Such as incorporating some of your comments from the interview about tunnel vision with Pete - which was great.
