- I have no idea how his life would have ended without a rescue - I don't even want to think about it! Luckily, someone knew to call Hope For Paws for help and the rest is in this video. 😊
I know I haven't posted in a while and I'm sorry about that - we just had some bad luck here. First, Justin, our video editor, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident, so he was out of commission for a few months, and a few weeks ago, Loreta and I got hit on the freeway by another car. 😓
The past two weeks have been a complete nightmare for me with terrible pain - I couldn't even think it was so bad (still not over). Our Hope For Paws rescue vehicle should be fixed in two weeks or so - a bunch of parts were back-ordered. 😖
The good news is that Justin is now back to editing videos (part-time), and he started working on catching up - just because we were a little quiet, doesn't mean we're not working to save lives.

Eldad, I'm sorry about what you, Loreta, and Justin had to go through due to bad drivers. I hope you all recover quickly and completely, with no residual pain. You do such good, important work, it's horrible when a careless/stupid/impaired driver manages to interrupt your mission.

Yes, there is SO MUCH inattentive driving in the LA area because it's not illegal to text, etc while driving --- You can't be stopped for it unless you run a stop sign or something. ANYWAY, I put Eldad, Loretta, and Justin all in our powerful Worldwide Healing Prayer Circle.
@@Dan5819It is illegal to drive and text in California. Doing anything with your phone or similar device while holding it and driving is illegal. Anything you want to use it for, like making a call, must be done hands-free. I double-checked via the CA Office of Traffic Safety.

😢his owner died maybe. More and more causes today
It is not unlikely that this dog might have gotten lost or run away and the owners cannot find him, even IF he is unchipped. Way up "north" like Eldad wrote has a lot of sheep or cattle ranches -- perfect for having this breed of dog around. People don't just "dump" such a pure-bred valuable dog -- when they could "sell" it, so-to-speak.

Yes but I donate to my own towns rescue where I live but love Hope for Paws we can’t just give to California there are homeless animals in every state in our nation!
@@dawnwalus6587 For sure, there is need everywhere and all good org's need donations!! Fyi tho, HFP has traveled out of state to help in really bad cases where no one else has been able to catch the dog. They did one one time on the east coast I think, dog's paw was locked in a horrible animal trap but nobody could get near it after trying for weeks. Eldad & crew to the rescue, it was brutal but the HFP angels finally succeeded.... Thank God for ALL the good rescuers, vets, foster homes. God bless all of them!

Blue Heelers (Australian Cattle dog) are known for their intelligence and loyalty. I hope this beautiful boy finds the best home. Thank you for finding and rescuing him ❤
To a cattle dog especially being abandoned by it's family is one of the worst things that could happen to them. They live purely for their family or chosen person.

My red heeler was an older abandoned stray I adopted from the pound, because of her age no one wanted her and thankfully I found her just in time. She's been with me almost 4 years, she's about 12 and I've made sure they're the best years of her life. My other dingbrat in the pic is a brindle orphaned wild born tropical dingo from the top of Northern Territory Australia.

They love their families, stick with the little ones when kids are out playing. Happy when you get home from anywhere; very loyal.

Who would abandon such a wonderful Australian cattle dog. Smart and loyal, devoted to service of their masters. They sell for $1000s in Australia and ‘take the rattle out of the cattle’ as opposed to mustering by helicopter or ATVs. I pray he finds a home that allows him to use his intelligence and sometimes limitless energy.
Yes, purebred and very well trained blueys, kelpies and border collies do sell for tens of thousands in Aussie and amazing how many stations are returning to dogs to muster their stock - keeps them calmer!!

I love it when the animals are so happy after they realize they are being rescued and not harmed. Some of them appear to love a good meal, a warm bath and love and attention. God says that animals are God's innocent. Who could not love an innocent animal? Thank God there are people like you who are willing to give their time and attention to rescuing and loving animals. I like the way you rescue the dogs as well as the puppies, some rescues overlook the larger dogs and leave them behind. Thank You.

I'm always in awe of how resourceful stray dogs can be, they fight to survive everyday, I love when they get rescued & can be free to be just dogs. Eldad I wish you a speedy recovery & no more pain so you can get back to what you love.
Eldad, I'm so glad that you and Loretta and Justin are on the mend now, & sad that those accidents ever happened. I wondered where you all were, as did countless others. You all take the time you need to recuperate: it takes patience to be a patient! We all understand!
I wonder if Bobbi had a nice home before? The cage didn't seem to freak him out like it does with many other rescues, and he seemed to know what a bath was: so calm and trusting! This boy will be in a good forever home soon!

Australian cattle dogs are very loyal to their family, it must be terribly disorienting for him to have been abandoned. This kind of dog would not purposely leave. Shame on them. May he find long life and happiness with a new family.

As far as Bobbi is concerned he seems very well trained/taken care of....I'm wondering if somehow he got out of a truck or someones car & they were completely unaware that he got out & didn't know where to start their search. I hope if someone is searching for him they see this & if not & he truly was abandoned then shame on them!!! & who ever adopts Bobbie they will have a loving loyal companion!

Our 2024 has been a mess too! In the first 2 weeks of the year, my husband was hit by a truck and totalled his car and our senior dog passed away. Here's hoping everyone's year improves! If we were closer to your rescue we would happily adopt this sweet pup!
As an Aussie it always breaks my heart to see Blue Dogs abandoned, they are known as "shadow dogs", they will follow you everywhere... Miss my Blue Girl.

Gorgeous cattle dog. If you adopt him, be sure to let him have plenty of exercise and give him a job. He’s a high energy breed and needs stimulation. In return, he’ll give you loyalty and all the love you could ever want.
The world is full of jerks-the people who abandoned this dog certainly falls into this category.

Wishing the subhuman monster that did this a life of pure misery for being so cold and callous dumping an innocent animal. Many blessed thanks to all for rescuing him, he's gorgeous. Wish I had the room for him, but already overwhelmed with my 3. I wish for him to find his forever home soon, he deserves all the cuddles and love.
All my years of driving up the 5 I’ve never seen a dog without an owner, I’m so glad someone sees these dogs and calls for help!

We have been with you 7 years during that time we have found dogs deliberately left in parks woods and just on the streets one thrown from a car in a garbage bag in medford i dont understand the cruelty bit thank you for sticking to it

Out of all the animal rescue stories on CZcams, Hope For Paws are my favorite. The story always ends well for these sweet animals. Even if they don't live long after being rescued, they were well cared for until they passed. The best part is the bath. You can see the fear disappearing from their eyes when they get the gentle baths. God bless for all you do for these sweet creatures.
