There are some absolute gems in this lot, some proper rare Fords and non-Fords, and they'r all safely stored in a massive workshop. Huuuuge thanks to George for inviting me round! I feel so privileged to have the opportunity to see and film this EPIC collection! 👍

How much does Padraig charge for this once in a lifetime tour …. Lol. There’s some real gems hidden away there, such an eclectic mix as well…..loving the content 👍🇮🇲. Love the mini van….my dad had two, they were so cool back in the day, and still are now…..and those Nova’s were really clean as well, great great footage……👍🇮🇲
Padraig is very well connected in the car world over there but not everyone gets the opportunity to see what I have. I’m very grateful to be able to share some of what I saw on the channel! 👍

George helped me out by rebuilding my diff and bending some copper brake pipes for me. The collection looks amazing in real life. Genuinely decent guy who knows a thing or two about cars!
He’s such a nice down to earth bloke. He didn’t want to be on camera but he took the time to walk me around the collection and tell me about all the cars. 👍

Great video! My favourites were the RS1600 and the Vauxhall shove it. I. Did some long forgotten research on the Chevette, a few years ago, and part of the reason that’s so rare, is like the RS200, dealers couldn’t give them away at the time. Now an HS (X) would be 50 grand plus in that condition. Nice black and red mad interior 😂

Being born in the late 60’s I remember watching rally cars on TV in the early 70’s on a Saturday afternoon and the Escort Mk1 just stuck in my head. Even today I’d love to own a nice example. Maybe I’ll need to win the lottery to own one but it’s my dream to own one

Great video as normal Marcus, not only that ive pick up abit about the old girls too, which has become useful as i've worked for someone who's had a mk1 for years and after having a heart attack his now having it restored with afew of his touches the ford boys wont like but i feel his been having in abit has he has money 5k so fare its only been sand blasted his been given a list of parts ie back quarter panels wings ect some parts he bought have gone missing and been ask to jump at parts now with out shopping round, but i'm going to see it weekend after work ill be sure to let him know if i think it don't need full panels and could be patched and see wots of value to sell on like the fish net head rests, as he is a sound bloke and wanted someone who knows about classic cars to do the work, sadly so many people get ripped off with restoring old cars an end up having it done again, i've put him on to your vids to get some insparation ,

@@marcushayesford Of course but that BDA engined RS1600 must be worth an absolute fortune ! I remember seeing one,same colour when l was on holiday in Malta in the 80’s. There were many old school Fords there at the time that l saw when l was there 🙂.
