Your skin is absolutely gorgeous, Dr. Sugai. You are a testament, not just verbally, but by example, of what good skin care will do. 🙂
Great video. I am a ROC customer for the last nine years and have been really happy with their line. I, too, was bad on using suntan lotion when I was younger because having a tan was healthy and beautiful….sigh! Enjoy your day 🌺😎🫶🏻💕
Great stuff Doc! Your skin is beautiful! And I must admit, you are GORGEOUS!!!!
We love your advice, Doc! Thanks so much for your continued voice of reason in the sometimes confusing and overwhelming world of skincare😊👍
I always find your videos interesting, down to earth and helpful. Thank you !
That means so much to me! Thank you!!
Plz cream for depigmentation 🎉
Very Helpful Dr. Daniel!!!
Thank You so much and GOD BLESS YOU and Yours.
Just found your videos! Amazing, helpful and easy to understand. Appreciate you!
I cant stop watching all your videos coz i am learning a lot! I know now what to buy for my skin care routine and how to use them❤thank God I found your vlog. thank you so much dr. More videos pls. God bless you more.
You have such a warm aura
Good info! Thanks Doc❤
I’ve never felt so good with a sunscreen as i did with vichy capital soleil.Great product😍👏
I really enjoy your videos. I learned so much. Thank you for always sharing.
Thanks Doc Sugai for your advice.❤
Thank you for these informative series. I started AlpaRet and Alto just over a month ago based on your reviews. Because I’ve been on various creams/lotions for 8 years trying to rid facial brown spots, I started off with the Intensive formulas and glad I did, experiencing no irritation or dryness. My goal was to rid brown circles and spots so I was shocked how the small black things (look like imbedded hairs) on my nose disappeared! I was embarrassed because it made my skin look “dirty.” I was doubly amazed how clean my pores look - I don’t notice them anymore. Completely unexpected! I started noticing what looked like more brown patches and spots emerge and realized that the skin overall has been lightening, making the discoloration more visible. I’m so happy with the overall benefits to my skin (I had to think twice about the expense as I’m a real skeptic after years of purchasing expensive brands that did nothing). I can tell that good things are happening to my 70+ skin that I abused in my younger years out of ignorance. I’m encouraged that my brown spots and patches will lighten over the next 6+ months and plan to continue with these products. By the way, the sunscreen compact is an easy to carry touch up when I’m out and about, in a car or plane. ❤ My overall skin texture feels soft and dewy, non greasy. I can’t believe the changes I’m seeing in just over a month. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and various products!
You are my fav Dr. You give me the best advice and so easy to understand your directions! Thank you
😊 6:43
Thank you for another helpful video. Working on increasing my retinol use but currently using the YTTP one since it’s not tested on animals and not too strong 🙈
perhaps you can do a video of treating acne scars? what are yor thoughts of dermabrasion kits vs chemical peels, vs laser resurfacing?
The Ordinary's brand new Retinal is amazing! Wondering what you would think of it.
Damn, all 3 of things I've started since I joined the journey. Thank you Dr. Sugai!
Love to hear it- great job, my friend!🙌👏👍
Excellent video. You are very easy to understand.
Appreciate you!!
Good information really appreciate you
The Inky List has a vitamin c+e serum at 15% for 20$ Canadian. The covergirl night has a 10% serum that's 15$.
Love your channel 😊
You are amazing!!!!!!! Thank you
Thank you so much!!
Exuiance tinted 50 spf is an awesome sunscreen that is never talked about.
Very informative video! Thank you! What do you think about THD?
I love all your video and I'm a fan of yours
I have this undereye kind of batchs and rashes since i was 15 and now am 24 😢 i have tried every other product out there but nah
Can you recommend something for or do a video about that, is so annoying have those stuffs on my face at such a young age
I thoroughly enjoy Dr Sugai, I learn so much; I didn't know about the skin barrier or that I had a skin barrier 😂until Dr Sugai videos
Wow 😍, such a useful video!! ❤🧡I like BLACK PEARL creams, great effect, although they can be hard to find. I personally get them from Dead sea shop, where the discounts are nice.😋😋🤩
Dr Daniel Sugai🥳
The information you share on your channel is so helpful 🥰 I was wondering what you thought of this product from Lubriderm. It's the Daily Moisture lotion with Ceramides, would you recommend this lotion for sensitive skin? Thank you Dr. Sugai 💕
I have the cerave retinoid one coming tomorrow 😊 my first one at age 32
I use an extra drop of ROC retinol on the backs of my hands. The dark age spots are fading. Thanls for the information on usimg vitamin C serum on the backs of hands
You’re really great.
Appreciate you!!🙏❤️
Geek and gorgeous C-Glow ❤
I really enjoy watching your videos. Your product recommendations are helpful. For older women, what are the must haves?
I'd see his anti-aging videos/shorts. He's also got shorts on skincare in your 50s.
Thank you!!!!
Thank you for watching!
Have you ever covered products like Curology or Agency? Love your videos!
I have not! I have never been a fan of subscription based companies that give products with a bunch of great ingredients at very small percentages (sub therapeutic IMO)
Curology now has OTC products at Target.@@danielsugaimd
Hi Dr, what do you think about the vitamin c from The ordinary ? Or any of their products?
Really like the video!
I wanted to ask is it good to use moisturizer and a serum that both have vitamin C.
I started using Olay moisturiser with spf 30 instead of a separate sunscreen under my foundation it’s good
Thanks
You are the best dermatologist on you tube. Can you help tinted spf always make me peel as I’m using tret. Any that don’t do this ? Thank you.
Strange. I’ve never been lucky enough to have a Derm that cares. My doctor had nothing to say absolutely my melasma. I suggested Retinal and got a prescription. He didn’t tell me how to use or using sunscreen. All he said was that it’s expensive. ? I didn’t even bother asking about other issues I had.
Dr Sugai would you pls make a video telling us if the store brands of .1% adapalene are just as good as the brand Differin because prices vary so much... I have mature skin
I use Timeless vitamin C,E and ferulic acid serum.
Been using for years and definitely recommend 😊
Hello Doc, please assist if you can. Would really appreciate it. I bought the Eucerin Vit C because of the good packaging but did not realize that it was fragranced (I didn't have my reading glasses with me and those letters are so small) and fragranced products irritates my skin. Currently I am handling tretinoin, 0,05%, every other night, on top of my moisturizer, very well. I first started off with the Cerave in your video and now I am using the last little Cerave for the back of my hands and under my eyes and eyelids. In the mornings I just wash with water and add hyaluronic acid and then my sunscreen and I reapply every two hours. Sunday nights I do, The Ordinary AHA+BHA peeling solution. Do I still require like a salicylic or glycolic acid and do I require a Vit C, if my main target is anti-aging, textured, redness and slight pigmentation? If so, please kindly add your recommendations. So much thanks in advance. 🙏🏽
I love the Cerave Vitamin C and use it every day with the La Roche Posay Toleraine Double Repair with sunscreen. For a retinoid I love the Avene .05 Retrinal....it is gentle but effective and can be used every day. Also, it includes squalane and does not include dimethicone. Win/win
Hi there! Love your videos but my issue with Maelove are the fragrant essential oils. How can that be good for your skin? I am so allergic to fragrant essential oils hence why I am unable to use Maelove. Wondering your thoughts on Maelove Vit C serum causing allergic rx or sensitivity due to those essential oils?
Do you have moisturizer recommendations for mature normal/dry skin? I'm 53, non smoker, non makeup wearer, I have been mixing in castor oil with my current moisturizer. Thank you
Youre so handsome ❤
Thank you. How do I avoid pilling? Is it too much product?
Im always looking on your vlog. I not comment that much but now I would like to ask what is the best skin care I can use im in 30 I have pimples and small dark patches of dark spot. I hope you can recommend me something I got sensitive skin
Thanks doctor! I’m currently using the gold bond retinol for body and face
Amazing! Good to protect the skin on the body as well as the face 👍👏
What is your opinion on StriVectin Super-C Retinol Vitamin C Serum?
Can you pleeease test/ confirm if the uv mirrors are accurate for sunscreen application and protection checking
Dr👍
I've been using Olay 24he retinol for 6 months or so, but it seems like it's disturbing my sleep. What would be a great substitute? Or other advice?
Can i use this 3 item at the same time? How often do i need to use retinol and vitamin c? Tnx
Plz cream for depigmentation
Dr. Sugai, you said tinted sunscreen helps prevent hyperpigmentation in people of color. What does people of color mean in this context? Anyone who’s not of European heritage?
I’ve been on Tretinoin 5 months every night my age spots haven’t faded yet. It’s brought out freckles on my cheeks. I’m 47, I use La Roche Posay sunscreen and vit C serum now. B3 and Hydraloc daily and eye cream. Will my pigment fade or is Tret not working?
What do you recommend for exfoliating?
Do you still recommend Melano vitamin c serum?
can you use a retinol and tretnoin at the same time on the same night. Or can you use them simultaneously in ur skincare routine but on different nights. Like retinol one night and tretnoin the next night? Or would you recommend not to use both at the same time at all and just stick to one?
I hope u can try and rate timeless coenzyme Q10 serum 😊
That's one Dr Dray recommended.
Skin care video for a lot of freckles on the face?
I have the sun tash each summer (UK based)
Should I be using tinted sunscreen for it rather than just normal UVA/UVB.
I'm white and very freckly
Hello doctor 👋
can I use this ingredients added face cream????
Water, mineral oil , vitamin E, collagen, Glycerine, fragrance, daucs carota L,Rosa centifolia, Kojic, citric acid, sofron oil ,petroliu paraffin ,BHT, sodium lauryl sulfate, paraffin, lanonin ???????
Is Bio balance 50 spf. tinted .. good ?
Woah just threw me Vit C Skinceuticals in the fridge
Thanks
Yep it’s confusing
I don’t understand the difference between tinted sunscreen and regular sunscreen. I can only tolerate mineral ones so I don’t know if that’s even and option
Hello, could you tell me the concentration of retinol in the Cerave'serum please. Thank you in advance and have a nice day 😊
Hello my friend- CeraVe has not disclosed the percentage of their retinol yet. I know other companies are coming around to disclosing like Neutrogena’s new regenerating cream. We shall see if they end up refreshing the retinol and showing the percentage in the future
@@danielsugaimd thank you very much 😊😙
What about the Maelove retinaldehyde serum? Is that a good one?
Their Moonlight serum is great!
Can you please tell me how to treat milas around eyes ,upper and lower eyelid, please any advise
It’s a tough area to treat given sensitive skin of eyelids can’t handle an exfoliant or retinoid so def need to see your dermatologist for manual extraction! It’s quite a common issue around the eyes!
HI WHAT ABOUT OLAY VIT C SERUM?
As someone new to anti-aging skincare routine is it recommended to use a retinol serum and a retinol cream at night?
No, just one is good. You can follow with a moisturizer too, if needed.
I always apply my sunscreen before other products. Is that ok or is it better to put it after the other products ?
After, last step so the spf can be on “top” of the other products so-to- speak.
If you mix the tretinoin with a moisturizer before applying to your face, will you get the same benefits as applying the tretinoin separately? Also, can I apply tretinoin with the moisturizer after applying all the other serums first for same results?
I had wondered the same thing about mixing Tretinoin with a moisturizer, but I read via another dermatologist that they don’t recommend that. Instead, you can apply a thin film of moisturizer before the Tretinoin, let that dry, then apply the Tretinoin. I’ve been using the Skin1004 Centella intensive ampule serum to protect my skin before applying Tretinoin. After the Tretinoin, I also apply a light moisturizer.
I can't handle the retinoids and C because of my sensitive skin. 😧☹
The roc retinols r the same but without fragrance?
The night cream has glycolic acid and ascorbic acid. The other fragrance free cream has ascorbic acid and a vit c derivative. The capsules don't have fragrance or any other active ingredient.
Paramita, kita bikin romantis....paling romantis...
Paramita, hai honey....
I'm 57 and use a peptide serum. Should i substitute VitC for this? Or in addition to? And if both, does it matter which one is applied first? Thx in advance.
Use vitamin C in the morning followed by your peptide serum. Vitamin c is very good for collagen production and hyperpigmentation.
Peptides can be use at night also, after retinols.
😂😂 YES...4 more years ❤🤙🙏🫂
Cheers to more fun- appreciate your comments every week 🥰
Am I going right ? If NO please correct me AM 1.cleanser 2. Niacinamide 3.Vit.C 4.Hyaluronic acid 5. Argireline 6.Matrixyl 7. Moisturizer 8 Sunscreen PM. 1 cleanser 2. Niacinamide 3. Argireline 4. Matrixyl 5 Retinol 6. Moisturizer. Please correct me ❤
Hi Dr. Daniel. How do you do this skin care routine? Do you use this all three at the same time? If so which one is first to put on your face? Or is there any particular time of the day to use each product? Sorry for my english. Thanks.
What are your thoughts on Paulas Choice?
Hi.. Denial.... My name.. Is. Denil. I. From. India
I've heard retinols cause hair loss. Is there any truth to this?
Definitely have not come across this at all. Tretinoin can help with hair loss when paired with minoxidil. Oral retinoids like isotretinoin though can cause temporary reversible hair loss
What are your thoughts on La Roche-Posay products? Surprised you didn’t mention them in any category.
I think many consumers of dermatology advice get frustrated when so many derms offer contradictory advice.
Plz.. Reccomend.. Sir.. I from.. India.. I. Have. Acne. Dark. Spot. Skin....
Vitamin c and retinol can help with that. So can adapoline gel❤ the cerave serum he recommends in this video might be good for you because the licorice extract can help with scaring, dark spots and brightening. Retinol can also reduce acne
@@legzfalloffgirl5148 thank u
There are Indian derm channels that might help.
For me retinol is very drying.. Its awful. For dry and sensitive skin
Suppose one is allergic to vitamin c?…what then?….
You should give us some non-genocide-complicit brands for those of us who care what our money supports.
I just clicked but this is terrible! Skinceuticals really? At leasr Allies of Skin and Geek and Gorgeous make their vit c fresh every week and it's cheap. I use far cheaper products and it's changed my pigmented dark asian skin. Now using Korean stuff. Not going back....
The Skinceuticals is a derm fave though due to the clinical studies/research and development. The Budget Dermatologist has also recommended the maelove glow maker and has said she considers it a dupe for the Skinceuticals. There are a number of CEF serums and a lot of folks in the comments tend to recommend the Geek and Gorgeous.
I was going to get the Cerave sunscreen in the yellow box, but the "mineral" version has Titanium Dioxide. Wouldn't that make it a "chemical" sunscreen?
