Why can’t the Lagos government employ workers to clean up the streets? You are always seeing trash all over. I have been to many world cities - Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Dallas, Cologne, Frankfurt…etc..the roads are always clean, and you see workers always sweeping and picking up trash. It makes the city more attractive.

They're road workers in Lagos who usually clean up the streets everyday but they need to employ more because the population in Lagos is high and also we the people need to have the mindset of not littering the road.

When was the last time you visited London, New York, Chicago, or Philadelphia? All these cities have good and bad areas. That is not to say that we do not have to keep our environment clean. However, we should stop making false comparisons. I lived 20 years in Europe and 19 years in Canada and the USA. I forgot to mention Toronto or some parts of Edmonton Canada.

@@ibrahimsalami4014 Olodo boy, did you see me mention the cities you stated. I didn’t mention New York, London, or Philadelphia. Go back and look at the cities I mentioned. The cities I mentioned have clean streets for the most part. I have been there, I know. Ode boy, read well before responding. Also there is nothing wrong with comparing, there is always someone or someplace at the top, that we are all achieving to get to.

@sean-et4wr the "olodo" and "ode" just invalidate your reply, you could have just reiterate your point. @ibrahimsalami4014 has a point, we've been to all these cities and yes they have good and bad areas. These cities have workers that clean their environments and stringent rules and regulations against littering which if similar were to be enforced in Lagos, Nigerians will start comparing their leaders to Dictators.

Chaos leads to anarchy. People are just doing anything they like without regard to law and order. Megashitty created by APC and the leadership of Thiefnubu. I can see it now, the legacy of Thiefnubu.

It is a Nigerian thing. Infrastructure is not the problem but leadership that carries out law and order. No country develpod without regard for law and order. This is a total collapse of law and order in Lagos.
