      b0nd999 hi, can a dado stack be fitted to this saw?

      Hi Dean, we would not recommend fitting a dado stack to this saw. Kind regards Tracey Customer Service

      Axminster Tools & Machinery I see you sell a dado set. What saws can it be used with?

    I bought a jet 600x from you guys about five years ago when I was based up in Scotland. The saw has never cut straight or square no matter how many times I set the dam thing up. I contacted you guys several times after purchase to deal with issues that were never resolved. When I moved my workshop back to Lancashire it went into storage for two years. Now I’m back up and running and low and behold it still cannot cut true. This saw you are reviewing looks to be everything the jet was supposed to be but isn’t. I really wish I had the confidence to make a major purchase from you guys again and invest in something that works instead of the overpriced paperweight stuck in the middle of my shop. Nice review by the way.

    Hi. Is it possible to use a dado set with this panel saw?

    I realise the Axminster tools are China imports. I'm seriously considering fitting out my shop with Axminster Trade machines, but what are the arguments to buy one of these Axminster tools (in this case panel saw) over say the Hammer lineup, which is only slightly more expensive.
    Do the Axminster machines offer heavier gauge metal? Are there other pros? In short, why should I chose the Trade line besides being slightly cheaper?

    This is a nice looking panelsaw even with its limited size. Shame it's not available downunder.

      Rendel it is. It’s called a Woodfast here, I have one and it’s an excellent machine.

    Why does my panel saw make a grinding noise when switched on

    • @axminster
      @axminster  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi there, if there is a grinding noise, it is usually one of two things: 1) There could be a small piece of timber trapped in the inner guard area or spindle and is rubbing on the blade. Isolate the machine and clear all debris from the machine. Or 2) A spindle bearing has failed. This may need an engineer to asses and replace the bearing. Hope this helps and if you need further support, please contact our technical team who can assist - www.axminstertools.com/contact

    I'd say that is a pretty good machine for the money, it's a pity that it only has a 10" blade though.

    Couple of observations: I would never be able to remember the name of this saw. Is it code?
    Why do you need to wear a hi-vis vest when there is only you and a camera man filming you, using a table saw?
