  • The story of William Borden originally aired at the No Regrets Men's Conference, February 7, 2009.
William Whiting Borden was a graduate of Yale University in 1909 and of Princeton Theological Seminary. Borden was converted to Christianity under the ministry of Dwight L. Moody. He later decided to become a missionary to the Muslims of China, but died of spinal meningitis in Egypt during his training there at the age of 25.
After his death, Borden's Bible was found with the words "No Reserve", "No Retreat" and "No Regrets" written in it.

Thank you so much; this is what we need to follow as Christians. Be brave; do what God gives you strength to do!

"no to self" is greater than all of those three statements that have been remembered.

It wasn’t the Borden dairy family that he was born into. Still, yes he was born into a wealthy family also named Borden.
