I bought a 3D pen last week and I got it today, but it's different from yours. When I tried to paint after making the outline, the result wasn't accurate enough.
unboxing items online. like you can download them. just look on sites that sell 3d pens. some have a section for templates. the site where I found this exact pen. also has a section for it. yet it's Dutch. so you couldn't find that section
what kind of paper are you using for the templates? i just got a 3d pen to make miniature wrought iron fences for dioramas and add detail to a bunch of other projects but the paper i print templates on sticks too much ... or not enough and the string just curls up ... thanks for reply!
Just me, or do these look insanely difficult to use? I'd imagine that almost any other medium would be easier to create your model out of. I had been thinking of getting my drawing- obsessed teenage daughter one of these, to try to broaden her repertoire, but I can see tens of hours of practice needed before creating anything and I doubt she'd be interested enough.
I dunno, I keep going back and forth on whether I think it would be difficult to learn how to do. Like anything else, I'm sure you gotta practice a lot

Its Called butter paper
It's wax paper and on most pens you can adjust the temp and that will determine how much it sticks to the paper and how strings it comes out
Mine comes off too easily. When I use it the plastic peals off when I add curves. : (

It's the same for me but I have a different pen
That’s because some pens don’t have retraction wher when you stop the pen it pulls the pla out of the pen a tiny bit so it won’t car in moving

If anyone wants to buy this pen I suggest eBay. I got one for 15$ and I even saw prices as low as 5$ but they were auctions.
I got 2 for 3 dollars each. I didn't try them yet, and I don't have much faith that it will work that good lol.
I used eBay pen to make something, but Plug usually, like one trash, don't buy it!!!
