    Came from artstation, not an artist myself but I love seeing the process. You're art is badass please keep it going. This and another video of someone who modelled a Gundam and rigged it makes me want to try this out.

    Hi there! I am an aspiring 3D modeller and came across your video on Artstation. I absolutely love your work! I have only recently looked into 3D modelling as a hobby and hopefully use this for a career.
    Do you have any tips for becoming a modeller, things to practice and ways of getting better?

    • @Egor_Poskryakov
      @Egor_Poskryakov  Před rokem +7

      I am not sure I am competent enough in this, because I make models very rough for further drawing. But I think I can give a couple of tips. The first and most important thing is to decide what you want to do, characters, environment, props, and what style (warcraft or maybe weapons from call of duty). This is the base, determining the answer to this question will close most of the questions on learning this. Next, I would advise you to just use references. This is very important, especially for the creation of some kind of weapons or equipment. The accuracy and plausibility of the 3d model depend on this. The next tip is to find a reference point, the ideal you aspire to, and the passion to go for it. There is a lot of information about specific software and how to use them on the Internet, for example, I learned everything just by finding free videos on the Internet) Good luck!)

      @@Egor_Poskryakov Thank you very much for your comment! I have seen both of your timelapse videos so far and you have an amazing scope of skills like using Blender, Zbrush, Photoshop, 3dCoat and more. I will continue learning Blender and try creating projects before learning how to use the other software. I aspire to have skills like you one day!
      Currently what kind of work do you do? Are you a freelancer? Also how much time have you put into doing this kind of art?

    Man, I wish you sold a slow version of this. What was the immediate Zbrush to Blender phase? Did you just bring in the messy Zbrush concept and retopo in Blender, or just sort of trace over the sculpt approximately using poly modelling? Thanks!

    A little random, but your mask pen brush... Are you using the default mask pen or do you have a specific masking brush you use for some of your panel lines? I've currently deferred to the paint brush, but curious how you're achieving what you are with the tool you use.

    You're crazy, you're the best!
    I have a question, you're adding details after the retopology, do you handle all of these details with a normal map?
    I wonder how to apply the details in the blender!
