I asked my husband to check the outside fridge to check on bread and coffee levels, he mentions I should pick up some butter, I go to store and they have 50%off stickers on land o lakes so I pick up 4 lbs boxes, this week I go to do a quick resort of that freezer and find 10lbs of butter y'all 😂
That’s how I ended up with 6 packs of cream cheese for only two people 😅 now I’m like “Are you POSITIVE we’re out? I’m gonna double check”

My husband and I moved out East, and we don't have Winco anymore. I nearly cried watching the video through there haha. Miss it.

For those around Wisconsin-- Woodmans is a LOT like Winco. Same signs and everything it looks like! Great place to shop.

Woodmans produce is top notch! But their prices on everything else aren’t that great if it’s not on sale. And their meat is pretty low quality. And their handmade “no mask, no service signs” that are like 6 feet long are just so tacky and not welcoming.

I just started buying clearance food, because I've been watching your channel! I normally would shop just Walmart and Costco, but I've started going to Smith's just for clearance. It has been so helpful!! Thanks for your all your idea's!!

Ive never seen food on clearance before coming to my college town with 2 krogers; I usually shop at ethnic markets where food is always cheaper and fresher because of the high turnover rate(which means no clearance). It never occurred to me to shop clearance items before watching your channel. Im on such a tight budget and vegan too, and I have to get adequate nutrients to keep my immune system at 100% because of how often I work (ugh Covid); this has been the best way to achieve all my goals and I can't thank you enough for this channel and ibotta recommendation
I've wondered what this was about? Our local grocery story has like a Spanish aisle and the tortillas are only $1! Where as the mission tortillas located elsewhere in the store are 4 times that amount!
@@gabriellekelly3462 oof the brand mark-up 😂 maybe its also the thing where ethnic foods are marked up at a high price in a giant or kroger or Safeway because they are "fancy" and a "superfood" and "exotic"; whereas an 'Asian Market' generally can't pull that trick because its just normal food to those customers
And I guess a Hispanic person wouldn't buy the mission brand if they could get something more authentic(and they know the value of a tortilla so you can't increase the price without them stopping buying it)
We go to an Asian supermarket once a month, non wheat noodles are so much cheaper than regular grocery stores.

Yes, I love the Swedish Fish. When my oldest was little she pronounced them so funny and phonetically. I cried when she learned how to say them correctly! Love it thanks for sharing

When I was 17, I worked at round table pizza. We used a pizza rocker knife to cut and it made cutting a pizza so incredibly fast and easy.

The salad kits are my go to for lunches now that I am back at school teaching.

Oooh i loove the ocedar mop!!! A tip you may not know about. Put a tsp of powdered tide in the bucket then fill halfway with hot water. It cleans your floors great and your house smells like tide.WIN WIN! this was a great haul. Youve got me looking for clearance food all the time!

The carnation instant breakfast saved my life when I was pregnant with my third child. I couldn't eat much so that stuff got calories in me when I was too sick to eat.

I absolutely love the way you shop. I have been shopping the same way for the past 30+ years. I have been using the stir fry kits to make homemade soup using rice noodles and whatever protein I have on hand. If nothing else frozen shrimp. I stock up on the salad kits also when they go on sale. Thanks for the share. Stay safe!

I am loving going shopping for discounted groceries. I got a #7 pork roast for $4 yesterday. That will go a long way to feed my family of 5. I love watching you. Keep the videos coming please.

I work for a Fred Meyer, and the policy set for making down, is one week before the expiration date, for like deli items (cheese, potato sales, hummus) I believe bakery items are the day before. Grocery items are a week before as well. Not sure for produce. Managers are supposed to have their markdowns done by 9 am. That’s not always possible. Sometimes they just try to get it done before they’re off for the day. Again, doesn’t always happen.

For burgers I suggest doing a sprinkle of the ranch seasoning before cooking then melt some mozzarella on the burgers. They are amazing and it is a nice change of flavors for burgers
Kerrygold Dubliner is my all time favourite “stinky cheese” (that’s what my kids call it 😂). Especially served with grapes and crackers. I’m drooling!
