(5)That encouraged China to stealthily occupy Spratly Islands in April, 2015 to get control of strategic Indo-Pacific oceanic passage,
(6) Instead of demanding China's withdrawal from Spratly Islands & Scarborough shoal, Xi Jinping was honored with welcome visit to White House where on Sept 25, 2015 he promised not to militarize illegally annexed Spratly Islands.! Xi then militarized them within 2 yrs.
(7) On the Afghan front, China bled US & Nato in blood & treasure through its proxy Pakistan, handed them humiliating exit & got strategic CPEC access to Indian Ocean..
No body could physically block the belligerent Communist except India.
In 2017 when China illegally entered Doklam to threaten India’s North-East. It was physical blockage of the Communist Army by Indian Army at Doklam plus rise of Indian people to boycott Chinese goods which made 400 Chinese Managers jobless in their VIVO & OPPO Indian stores within 2 weeks, that alarmed nervous China. That changed US response. Trump took hint & in 2018 put 25% tariffs on 6,800 Chinese goods worth whopping $250Bn & sent his Pacific fleet to physically challenge Chinese authority in the SCS.
When India was under pandemic lock down from April 2020, assessment of Xi Jinping of Coronavirus being highly contagious, non-treatable & very fatal causing Wuhan-type economic standstill led him to invade Ladakh thinking it to a garden walk. Again rapid blockage of Communist army by India despite raging Covid pandemic put spanners in Xi Jinping’s aims.
Xi had to change 4 commanders of his Western Theater Command after his 15th June Galwan debacle. A former Chinese military official, Jianli Yang, stated that more than 100 Chinese soldiers were killed in the dreadful conflict.
Under PM Modi India has also become 5th largest economy. India earned its place both strategically & economically. The US & the West realized importance of India. India became natural & regular invitee to G7 thanks to Modi's visionary leadership.
