There's no value in making bets worse than -130, I know it's close, but these types of bets are complete sucker bets. I think the adjustments Defensively were great against the Lions, and there was are two trends that we'll see if they continue.

How can Broussard simultaneously say "Chiefs should be favored." and "I expect the 49ers to win." That would only make sense if he felt like he had private information about the outcome of the game (e.g., most people will mistakenly expect the Chiefs to win, based on their information, but with my extra information I know they're wrong.) But this isn't what he's arguing. He either knows he's making a bad pick, or he's pretending to criticize the line for being "too correct." I don't follow the logic at all.
Happens in sports all the time. What he's thinking is due to Mahomes, their history, and how they've been playing lately, the chiefs should be favored. That being said, he provides the reason he thinks the 49ers will win. You don't just pick the team that you think should be the favorite on paper 100% of the time, there's always a lot to consider.
