It's like riding a motorcycle... I own one 2008, honestly only problem I've had is back tires always wearing out faster than front 😅 If you run it manual is way better Always used the proper 🛢 oil & ⛽️ gas and oil changes very often
If you can fix all the problems that old beast has which btw cost around $25k you can have a really fun expensive experience afterwards. Those M5’s exhaust notes even stock sound amazing.

Thats awesome! I recommend starting with the spark plugs, coil packs and all the fluids in the motor. Switch to the viper thermostat with 5w50 oil. Itll run like a champ 💪🏼
I'm not even a BMW guy but this era BWM was great.. E60 M5 is one of my favorite cars.. to bad the reliability is to much for the average person to keep up.
Best car period. Had a unicorn with a 3 pedal. Docile normal car but put your foot down and will try and kill you. Thank god you cant disable the nanny’s or id be dead Just a wonderful machine. Not the maintenance nightmare everyone claims. Just fantastic
