  • The Israeli military intensified its attacks on northern Gaza on Monday, battling a regrouped Hamas in areas it said it had cleared and renewing questions over Israeli strategy in the war as the United States issued some of its harshest public criticism yet. Also, a secret Hamas police force in Gaza conducted surveillance on everyday Palestinians and built files on young people, journalists and those who questioned the government, according to NYT reporting. NBC News Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel joins Morning Joe to discuss.

So Hamas who is the only ruling government voted for by the Palestinian people, and the only organization fighting the nation committing genocide, and is now risking their lives to defend their people, are doing it because? Israel on the other hand, who has killed nearly 40,000 Palestinian people (2/3 babies and women), and wants to continue with the killing of the innocent is better for Palestinians than Hamas? How is Israel better? Everything they had is gone, that includes: Homes, family members, schools, hospitals, jobs, etc. How is Israel the better choice. Who else is doing the defending of Palestinians other than Hamas? Will you allow anyone to come and bomb you and sit there and do nothing? Think before you make such a statement.

The dominant issue in Palestinian politics is the Palestinian right of return, which is a fake promise made to Arab refugees in 1948, that the Jews would be defeated and everything in Israel would be given to them. The current conflict is still exactly the same, with Hamas promising to fight the Jews until they are defeated. The only road to peace must abandon this Palestinian right of return (which isn't a right at all). All political choices available to Palestinians must include recognition of Israel and must abandon right of return.

Put great pressure on Israel to agree to the demand of the PLO. The US did its job militarily, it did its job Diplomatically. I guess didn't do much job economically. But if we have to base this analysis on past event we can point to a society like Germany after the First World War, who were indeed a democratic, thriving Society, who in a short period of time lived through an expensive devastating war, were imposed choking war reparation, lived through the Great Depression, and a global pandemic like the Spanish Flu.
And no offense, but the US didn't loose the war in Afghanistan, it just withdrew and Abandoned everything they did, when IT WASN'T the people that they worked with who became radicalized, it was the RADICALS who INVADED.

Mohmed, I realize we all want to believe our religion is correct because it's our religion and we have "Feelings" that make us believe it's correct. I was also raised in a religion that claimed to be the one and only True Religion to which every person needed to adhere and obey. Too many shocking things happened in my life and I had to accept that my religion could not possibly be correct. I encourage you to explore the evidence regarding, for example, The Exodus. Did it ever happen? We all know the evidence shows there was no institutional slavery in Egypt. The evidence also shows there was no "The Exodus."
All the evidence also shows there was no Noah's Ark nor Noah's Flood. None of it happened. You can find videos here on YT that will discuss this and present the evidence. There are also plenty of websites that will guide you to a wealth of evidence proving both The Exodus, and the Noah's Flood never happened.
Please don't hamstring yourself by continuing to believe in a religion. Look up Apostate Aladdin channel and he has a great deal of info

Sure. Israel doesn’t care about hostages. That is why they have agreed to hostage deals and in the past have exchanged many prisoners for each hostage, including sinwar. There are 2 million Arab citizens in Israel who have full rights. Hamas killed Arabs also on Oct 7. Why is it so difficult for you to stop hating Israel and understand that Iran is the problem.

Let us remember that Israel has taken THOUSANDS of Palestinians hostage since OCT 7th!
THOUSANDS of them, but, of course, the Zionist Israeli regime calls them detainees - these are people that have not been charged with any crimes that have been abducted from the State of Palestine and taken to the State of Israel against their will. Many have been humiliated while in captivity. An unknown number have been tortured ...we know this because it is documented that the Israelis have been torturing Palestinians in custody for decades.
Israel has taken THOUSANDS of Palestinians hostage.

Founded on 15 November 1988 and officially governed by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), it claims the West Bank (including East Jerusalem) and the Gaza Strip as its territory, all of which have been Israeli-occupied territories since the 1967 Six-Day War....
...On 15 November 1988 in Algiers, Yasser Arafat, as Chairman of the PLO, issued the Palestinian Declaration of Independence, which established the State of Palestine. A year after the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993, the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) was formed to govern (in varying degrees) areas A and B in the West Bank, comprising 165 enclaves, and the Gaza Strip...

Today, there are approximately 650,000 Jewish settlers living illegally on occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and Israel’s settlement enterprise covers approximately 42% of the West Bank." - imeu website 10/2015

Adopting resolution 2334 (2016) by 14 votes, with the United States abstaining, the Council reiterated its demand that Israel immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem. It underlined that it would not recognize any changes to the 4 June 1967 lines, including with regard to Jerusalem, other than those agreed by the two sides through negotiations." - un website 12/2016

Why weren't UN Peacekeepers moved into Palestine decades ago and what is stopping it from happening now that a genocide is happening!?

It still is the UN's responsibility to restore peace in the region.
The UN needs to more actively intervene.
The UN needs to send in peacekeeping troops to calm the issue.
The Israeli settlers need to be driven out of their illegal settlements in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem.
The Israeli military needs to be off the streets of Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

      In case you forgot, ...
      -
"Israel’s systematic dispossession of Palestinians is ongoing today, both in the occupied territories and inside Israel’s internationally recognized pre-1967 borders, where Palestinian citizens of the state and those living under occupation continue to be pushed out of their homes and off their lands - including entire towns - to make way for Jewish citizens and settlers. Today, there are approximately 650,000 Jewish settlers living illegally on occupied Palestinian land in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and Israel’s settlement enterprise covers approximately 42% of the West Bank." - imeu website 10/2015
      -
"The Security Council reaffirmed this afternoon that Israel’s establishment of settlements in Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, had no legal validity, constituting a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the vision of two States living side-by-side in peace and security, within internationally recognized borders.

Palestinians can also be from the West Bank. To be Gazan is much more specific. Gaza Palestinians only.

Palestinian is not an ethnicity, their ethnicity is Arabs and they live in Gaza so Gazans is fine. People who line in Florida are referred to as Floridians, what’s your problem? Who is erasing what?
