IVUS guided Zero contrast Left main angioplasty

This was the 1st case of zero contrast complex angioplasty performed on our Pinnacle Agile Cath lab involving the ostial LAD and stents were placed from left main to LAD. Use of IVUS (zero contrast imaging technology )to place the stent and assess the vessel.
Dr. Bharathesh and his team achieved a milestone by successfully performing the intricate zero-contrast angioplasty for the first time in the Kasargod district.
IVUS guided imaging technique is usually used for complex left main angioplasty to assess the stent struts, malposition, vessel size, dissection, thrombus, and calcification.
