I met comic artist Greg Capullo who noticed my Slipknot shirt in his line-up and asked me if I saw his photo that he illustrated for Revolver Magazine featuring Kerry King and Corey Taylor. It was a cool moment for sure.

Honestly understandable! For me tho I’d have to say listening to him talk bc I feel like when u hear him talk, he is talking about things he likes or enjoys so he just looks like a little kid finally having someone to talk to about his likings. He’s such a cutie❤😂

Andy sorta reminds me of Christopher McCandless on the way he used the literature that he read, to keep himself driven in the hard times.
The earliest comic books I can remember reading are Elfquest, Quasar, X-Men (back when there was actually nice story and art), New Mutants (Still have the Loki/Asguard storyline) and Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld (before it got dropped in the wood chipper with no survivors). Also copies of Forgotten Forest of Oz and Lost Continent that made my six year-old heart sing. I think I still have one of the best Marvel card collections where the art wasn't nauseatingly hip/ugly as sin. Sigh. Crap, this just makes me nostalgic. Andy's gorgeous and his voice and delivery is truly envy-worthy but now I just feel f***ing nostalgic. Buying used comic books at the store for a quarter, the smell of plastic covers, cardboard inserts in the air and 80s90s music over the speakers behind the crappy ceiling panel inserts. Edit: I used to cut out the images, too. Wish I hadn't, but back then it was sooo cool and fun.
I would watch anything that involves musicians talking about their great graphic novels. Literally watched it twice in a row and don’t even know who those dude is. Righteous taste though!

Andy I like Indy comics and Marvel Comics because Marvel has down to earth heroes and Indy comics have Alice Cooper, KISS, Doctor Who and I love The Walking Dead that is put out by Image Comics and Marvel Zombies is a good read and some DC Comics are good reads too. Check Out Marvel Zombies series and it's crossover with Army Of Darkness. Also Check Out Dynamites run of KISS Comics and IDW Comics run of KISS comics.
