@@johncena3022 Men and women now compete in 16 events, involving four different strokes across a range of distances. Freestyle races cover 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1,500m, 10,000m; the 800m is for women only and the 1,500m for men only. The butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke races each cover 100m and 200m. All four strokes are used in the 200m and 400m individual medley events. The 4 x 100m freestyle, 4 x 200m freestyle and 4 x 100m medley relays complete the programme.

@sahil sharma True but not completely. Medal tally is not representation of sports acumen of a country. What really matters is number strength and how strong your contigent is. Its really important to have good sports facilities for diverse sports.

Most athletes would be over the moon with just one bronze medal, as getting a medal in the olympics means you are top 3 in the world at that point in that sport. This man has 23 gold medals, which means he's been #1 or shared (in the case of team events) #1 23 times over 12 years. I doubt there will be another human with this talent ever again.

@@VCT3333 he had asthma so he legally was taking drugs to improve his body and lung capacity. it was unfair advantage. we know other cases in sport of ppl in asthma who are just good in capacity. for example bjoergen from norway.
