Good review thanks, I do like this list at 600pts and above. Definitely considering the shaman now. You handled it very well against my elves in Wiltshire, definitely with the fearless troll with the baseball-like aim at hurling rocks at Celeborn!

Good breakdown. I feel like its probably not super competitive though. Maybe the 750 and 450 is more so but the 600, which is what my group plays the most I think a lot of lists would be pretty good into it. I ran Azogs hunters/legions with bolg at 600 had almost as many models with bolg, fimbul, merc captain, hunter orcs and mercs. About half the models are 2 attacks, you got wargs and a couple mounted hunter orcs for mobility and the ambush from the merc captain. Also Bolg is just a beefier hero then gothmog. I think something like harad which ive played against a decent amount would also be decent into it having a lot of f4 and burly. I also play a lot of mirkwood, which at 600 you have like 30 models and thranduil with the extra sword and legolas The d6 is awfully good against archery though but I'd still probably rather take mirkwood? I dunno. Definitely decent lists though and a good example of very "fair" army list. They're totally good and if you play well you'll win more games then not.

hey Great video love the production, I dont fully agree with the catapult at 750pts I think the army is based off movement and the 1 time ability. I think the damage from this army comes from the orcs doing the work at S4 plus the re roll to wound. you lose way to many numbers with the catapult and even more if you take the troll with it. I went Goroth over zagdush but only for that scenario where you have to pick a target thats not your leader to try and kill and save. Other than that it was spot on.

Without working it all out, it’d be something like:
Gothmog (Warg, shield)
Guritz
Goroth
Zagdush
Shaman
Catapult
Fill with Morannons including a banner or two.
Possibly take the enforcer too.
