You can tell by the way they speak that they were put into a very fortunate situation to get this "millionaire" status. Someone who really "made it" after countless failures and being familiar with rock bottom will be able to articulate themselves much differently as they have multiple perspectives from vastly different points in their lives to use as they're constructing an argument. I just find this video very shallow as it seems like a lot of these guys don't put much thought into what they're saying.

I feel like “anyone can become a millionaire” is the most stupid and toxic mindset that makes people at the top seem exceptional while downgrading the rest. A lot of kids with rich parents think that way, including some that I know and the level of delusion is unreal. No matter how you earn that money a lot of factors had to come together for this to happen, you have to have things that are inaccessible to some people, like starting capital, education, certain knowledge or business partners and connections. If you go to a good college, there’s a big chance that you will find people to start business with there, a kid from a poor family will never have a chance to meet those people in the first place. Even if you “made it from the bottom”, there’s still luck involved. That’s why becoming rich is skill + luck and not accessible to everyone by definition.

Anyone can become a millionaire, I know a couple that came to the Netherlands when they were 14-16 years old from China (at that time a 3rd world country). They didn't speak the Dutch language and had no prior education but basic, they didn't even speak English. They worked 70-80 hours a week for a couple years in restaurants and lived at other peoples houses, then started their own company where they worked their asses off and became millionaires after like 20 years. It's just a different kind of work-ethic you need to have (and balls) which the majority of the western civilization seems not to have anymore.
I wish these people could experience 24 hours as someone struggling to eat or pay rent. It's easy to throw stones from your ivory tower if you've never waded through the mud yourself.

Its natural for most people to become slightly detached from reality and actual issues with society as they dont have to worry about paying bills, food, 9-5 work schedule and etc. As i am myself somewhat well off financially, i often dont look at prize tags or realize how much something costs anymore or how hard of a job it would be to buy groceries if i was poor like i was as a child. I remember sometimes going to the store as a teenager and having to think long what to buy and what not to considering my budget at the time.

- A valued skill (E.G. charisma can help you be successful on social media, coding can help create a popular app)
- An opportunity (E.G. crypotocurrency becoming popular, TikTok blowing up, the right person hires you)
- Luck (E.G.the CZcams algorithm picks up your video, a chance meeting with a mentor)
- Persistence (to be able to keep going when it gets tough)
What does not necessarily make you rich:
- hard work (a fast food worker can hold down two jobs, be totally exhausted and still poor)
- Intelligence (intelligence cannot bring riches on its own)
- A skill that people do not value (E.G. being a great teacher or nurse)
Don't forget about networking/connections. You need to know all the right people in order to capitalize on that opportunity once it presents itself.

I hate the constant "anyone can be a millionaire" debate. It's really not that complicated. Most people are CAPABLE of becoming a millionaire, but by definition, not everyone can become a millionaire, based on simple economics/mathematics. Our economic system is competitive by nature, so technically, only the top 10% (random number) will become millionaires. A lot of people (not everyone) are capable of being in that 10% if they over-compensated their deficiencies (bad upbringing, poor, health issues, etc.) with work ethic, charisma, networking, etc. Some people will require less work to be in that 10% than others, but realistically, if you show up on time, work hard and get along well with people, you are already doing better than most people. Also, you are almost always better off believing anyone can become a millionaire (even if you actually don't end up becoming one), then just giving up entirely and saying it is not possible.
These people are 18 and 19. They haven't worked for anything just got lucky really damn early, maybe that pageant girl her mom made her do some weird shit to become famous.

Being born in America or having the opportunity to emigrate there is the biggest factor and a privilege. You just have hell of a lot more possibilities and opportunities, all the major brands are located there. You accidentally make a viral video and you're sponsored. These things just don't exist in most European countries and 3rd world countries are even worse. You might get a little exposure from a viral video, but it's really hard to capitalize on it. So for people that really come from nothing I'd say the location is really the limiting factor. Of course there are outliers, but in general you chances of becoming a millionaire depend on your location.

@@vigilr6595 no... you can literally invest in cheaper stocks and make small amounts of money and then once you have enough for the bigger ones, you buy those. but yeah it is almost gambling because it is risky but if you know what you are doing (ie. reading news, keeping tabs with governmental agencies and the limits they can put on a company through new legislation and other stuff) then you can probably be fine, not millionaire immediately, but you will be making a decent amount of money. (Obviously do thist if you have a job which leaves you savings) and then if you want just pick up coding and get into creating day trading algos and stuff to create the trading more automated and less time consuming than just sitting there.
