  • Today on Dice Chatter we are making some simple stone ruins! Whether it is Age of Sigmar, Dungeons and Dragons, Frostgrave, or any other wargame on the tabletop, these ruins will add some needed ambiance to your games! This is a great way to get started in terrain building for new folks and those that are experienced tabletop crafters as well.

    This is a classic build, and probably the most used terrain in the collection. Thanks for another entertaining video Donny!

    Instead of rocks and stones in the coffee can, use all those screws, bolts, and nuts you have kicking around. Less dust and they don't wear out. Big magnet to seperate the foam from the screws. Done. Much cleaner and easier than rocks.

    Beautiful build Buddy!!!!! Never had a proxon. You make a great argument to get one!!!! I bandsaw my foam but you get the nice hot surface on all sides. It dose make it tougher. My advantage is speed. Loving the vides Big guy!!!!!

    I would have made them lower the height for the "floor" of them a bit. But I also did not think of the height variation this gives! well done!

    Nice ruins, but the bases are way too thick. I woukd have used 3 or 5mm MDF or foam core at the thickest. But good video and nice job on the coloring and flicking. Keep up the great work. 👍

    Looking great, well done ☺️👍 I have a couple of questions, i'd like to know what gaming mats do you use for frostgrave? Did you make your own trees, and would you care to do a tutorial on that? Many thanks.

    • @DiceChatter
      @DiceChatter  Před rokem

      The Mats: check out Skirmish Mats. I have a discount code (DICECHATTER), 10% off if you purchase anything for those nice guys.
      For the trees, some are 3D printed, while the skinny spindly ones are crafted. Older vid, but should do the job. czcams.com/video/u9oZLOG2m1s/video.html
