- A little dream came true on the 22 May 2016, when I got to meet Brian Wilson after the soundcheck at the london Palladium.
An experience I will never forget. The most humble, gentle and fun fun fun human being! Love you Brian, Al Jardine and Blondie!
So cool, I also did the meet and greet , What a thrill to get a photo with Brian and Al, What beautiful people they are, thanks for posting this video & glad you had a great time.
I had the same experience in the fridays concert! Was in this show too :) Great video, thanks!
Thank you for watching!!!
Maravilhoso, Audrey! Sem palavras para descrever a emoção que você passou nesse encontro com esse ser humano genial, único, uma das maiores mentes da humanidade de todos os tempos, em minha opinião! Já me inscrevi no canal! Parabéns! Lindo!
Obrigada, Ricardo!!!
Concordo com vc, uma das mais brilhantes e lindas mentes de todos os tempos!
Great concert. I went to Newcastle/Gateshead on 29th May. Such good musicians. Thanks for posting.
Wow, Audrey, this is great. I saw Brian at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool on 31st May and I also went to the sound check then the meet-and-greet.
The sound check was like our own private concert with less than thirty people watching and I sat in the very front row. Brian made eye contact with me on a few occasions as I sang along, I raised my thumb to him in total admiration.
The meet-and-greet I felt was a little rushed with seventeen people there but it was awesome to just stand right behind Brian, Al, and Blondie for that elusive photo and to come away with two signed pieces of memorabilia which I'm in the process of getting framed!!!
We should feel so privileged to have got to see Brian perform on what will likely be his final ever tour. I feel he really needs to relax and enjoy the rest of his life in comfortable retirement with his wife and kids / grandkids.
Once again, thank you for posting this video, you've done a great job in editing it and good luck to you in the future.
Gary Sweeney.
Hi Gary! Thank you for your message! I couldn't agree more with you, the Soundcheck does make you feel very privilege and special! I will treasure this memories for the rest of my life! x
Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I was at the show on Friday. So glad you got to meet Brian, Al and Blondie!
Thank you! It was an unforgettable experience :)
Thanks so much for making and sharing this video. My wife and I shelled out some major $$$ for the meet & greet, soundcheck VIP package for San Francisco. Looks like you had an amazing time!
Love it t 20.54 when Al starts clapping on the off beat, looks around and then goes on the on-beat. Come on Al, you should know this song by now.
Thank You!
You're beautiful ❤ . Kisses from Mexico ❤
Awww thank you, darling! Kisses from London x
I was lucky enough to get a VIP ticket from a friend of mine that allowed us to get up on and back stage before the show. I remember climbing the stairs to the stage and walking behind the curtain where it was pitch dark. And there, sitting all alone in a chair in the corner, in complete darkness, was Brian. Kinda creeped me out a little. But I guess he needs his 'alone' time as much as anyone....
thanks for the video
so jealous of the meet and greet
So nice to see this one. Was there at saturday's concert.
That was on sunday!
were u there on saturday?
Audrey, faz um vídeo dos seus perfumes favoritos! !
Brian is a different kind of musician to meet isn't he, very quiet, doesn't say much but has a dry sense of humor. I have always found since I am a lot older than you, I heard Pet Sounds on 33 1/3 first, then Digital, but it is not until your at the concert and can hear all the other instruments play, which shows you how the music really works together ( Pure Genius ). When Martens pulls out the Baritone Harmonica - for a song, and I am a Vertical harmony addict - how cool. Lucky Gal, cause they say Brian has stated he won't tour again.......
Thanks for taping the soundcheck! I was there, too - first row on the very left at the concert, on soundcheck 2 rows behind you on the right :D
Did you wait outside the Palladium after the concert, too?
Saw the guys in Birmingham - fantastic venue and concert. Who sang God only Knows on the overlay of the meet and greet sector? Different but really good.
Thanks you I didn't know what to expect when I meet Brian on 9/13 do you think Al will also sign my old mono Pet Sounds album? Thanks Audrey.
Thanks for the great vid! Doing this at his final tour stop: Sacramento. If I bring Brian's new book for him to sign, do you think he can/will? And I can presume that videotaping the rehearsal is OK since you did it? Appreciate your responses. Thanks!
I really want to see this here in the Nj or Ny area, but they're all sold out.
You're English is really good.
I would have thought that by now the guitarist should know in which octave to play God Only Knows. And why didn't the crew put Al's mic stand at EXACTLY the right height before the soundcheck.
Who is the new Falsetto? He is amazing? Such pure vocals..
It's Matt Jardine, Al Jardine's son! He's brilliant!
Wow cool. Really very good
He is, indeed!
=)
what language are you speaking?
Its Brazilian Portuguese, Patrick! ;)
Why is it easier for a cute girl to meet rockstars than it is for a big jiboney like me?
God Only Knows...
Hi Audrey, Was it worth the price of admission to meet Brian and the guys? I'm considering it but it is a steep price although for a once in a life time event.
You'll be looking into USD500.00 but it's well worth it! You she definitely treat yourself. Once in a lifetime opportunity!
How were you able to record the soundcheck and meet greet?
Hi S, Filming was not only allowed but encouraged by the Brian Wilson's team! =)
It looks like the sound check is first, then the meet and greet and then the concert? How early before the concert was the soundcheck?
What did you bring him? What did you and what did he say to you?
Typical Al, fucking around with his in -ears AFTER the concert has started. I remeber chatting with Ed Carter and Billy Hinsche in Manchester after their 1991 concert and they confirmed that Al was obsessed with monitoers, and never sang on mic properly. However, he is the SECOND most consistent Beach Boy after Mr Love, so we let him off a bit.
