I think he's trying to reiterate defaming inquiries just to desperately nail in the idea that Depp is nefarious to the jury. And for a lawyer to use tabloids to counter DEFFAMATION trial (guys seriously lol). Amber Heard at best have bi polar disorders or at worst is a narcissic pervert manipulator. Either need treatment and to be estrained from coming close EVER to Johnny Depp or any memeber of his relatives. Cause she clearly have an obsession against him. it is a SUPER common trick in courts to re-read yellow (also known as fictional or sci-fi) press tabloid titles to divert from the punchline that actually misleads the reason why case exists in the first place - in other words an 8-step routine and its old like a roman empire old:
      1. read fictional titles -
      2. belittle the true reason for a case -
      3. switch to pointless reason on the fly -
      4. demand to accept that is the only reason -
      5. lock plaintiff in a loop by endless speculations -
      6. enforce the pointless reason -
      7. convince the jury that plaintiff made a mistake -
      8. win the case -

I don't think people in the comments section understand that this is a 'defamation' suit. Meaning Johnny Depp is suing Amber Heard for the bad tabloid image she gave of him after they separated, saying that this ruined his career. It makes sense for the defense lawyer to show all the extremely negative press he was already getting before Amber Heard did/ said anything. There's context here in the nature of the case. You don't seem to understand this. He's not using these articles to prove Johnny Depp is a bad person, he's showing these to show Johnny Depp was already getting very bad press before Amber Heard's statements.

Yep all this proves is that Amber's whole defense team have Nothing on Johnny. they are desperately trying to just make him look bad, but that chuckle from the audience in the court when Johnny threw facts back at the Lawyer shows how they all see that the media and defamatory stuff is BS. People today know what the media are all about, they will drag a celeb's name through the mud just for headlines.
Any logical person had only got to look at facts when it comes to Johnny Depp's career in Hollywood, sure he has substance abuse issues and drug addiction problems he is "human" afterall, but there has never been a single story even a rumor of anykind of abuse of women, by Johnny Depp. When a movie star is a A-hole you hear many stories of thier bad behaviour over years just like Weinstein.
the point is if Johnny was a abuser of women and real A-hole/SOB you would have heard things come out by now especially from his ex wives, Vanessa and Winona would be having a field day by now with the metoo movement. theres been nothing when it's come to Johnny Depp and his exes have been in full support of him that says alot.
