For the tests, in order to test only WIFI 7, you need to have a wifi 7 device that connects to the router and do the transfer only between them. When you speedtest internet connection, you're not testing the router, but only internet connection which is way less quicker than the router might. Yes they are. TP-Link sent me the Archer GE800 and its a $1200 wifi7 router! I will have the review up next week. Its a beast! 😀
