Casey, please reach out to EcoFlow and get the specifics about their warranties and after warranty service options in the USA to add to your EcoFlow sponsered videos. EcoFlow is the best in the business. I feel that the end users that are on the fence between brands should be aware of how they will be taken care of when/if their unit fails. These are very expensive units that are completely useless if a control board fails inside them. My experience with Jackery and their response of zero after warranty support for my failed Explorer 1000 pushed me to go with an EcoFlow Delta 2, and I have zero regrets.
Put a cardboard box or a blanket over the engine you are while warming it. The box will keep the heat in and warms greater area excellent video. You are a good man.
Howdy. I'm Dave and live outside of Sister's. Cold like crazy today on the 22nd. IF you have points on your tractor check those. Make sure they are clean and flat and a match book for your point gap. Bad points and/or gap will make it crazy hard to start.
Look into the small heating element you put in place of your freeze plug, it'll heat the engine block without spending extra power on the radiator. Then a trickle charger and a small silicone oil pan heater and it'll fire up on days cold enough you won't really want to sit on the tractor. We do it this way here in Alaska. You can fire up a truck or tractor easily even at -40°F weather.
I used to live in LaPine, close to where he is, used the block heater that spliced into the lower radiator hose on the car ,plugged in each night no problems
I agree. I don't have the block heater but an oil pan heater on my truck along with battery heaters. Doesn't matter if it's 15 degrees or below zero, it helps tremendously.
We pray 🙏 for Grumpy to feel better soon and keep his wife healthy. Good neighbors are priceless 🤣. As a retired...Jack of all trades...we ...missus help our neighbors...fix whatever comes up when you own an older home. One old (99 years)widow we get her mail and groceries along with ours and visit for a bit. Smile and wave to your neighbors just because they are neighbors not that you know them...yet. Keep teaching good family values to your wife and daughter.
Please let Grumpy know someone in Oklahoma is praying for him. (I pray for your safety, too) Thank you for being that neighbor you can depend on when you need help. Gosh the world needs more neighbors like you. Always enjoy your videos dear, stay safe and GOD bless
Hey Casey! I'm glad to see EcoFlow has sponsored you. I had no idea EcoFlow existed until I saw them in your videos. I've now bought a Delta 2 and 220W solar panel from them, just waiting for them to arrive in the mail. I also really like seeing the "Out of the box" uses you find for them. Everyone who reviews things on CZcams talks numbers but it's something else entirely to see what it can actually do out in the real world! Keep up the good work!
Please tell Grumpy I’m joining others here in praying for him. I was sitting here saying “come come, come on, start! yes!” I’m old and it doesn’t take much to amuse me. 😉 It’s great to have friends! Thanks Casey!
Get well Grumpy I want to see you back in the videos soon. Nice to see you looking out for Mr. and Mrs. Grumpys driveway , And I'm sure much more Casey.
I hope Grumpy gets better soon and hope that Mrs. Grumpy doesn't get sick. Awesome information for people that need it. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
In a tight situation, on the farm growing up we always used a disposable turkey pan with a bag of match light briquettes... light and after the flames go down to coals slide the pan under the tractor engine. Works awesome to heat up the old tractors... btw... this was in Gilchrist Oregon... Love your channel!
Just a note on eco flow (which I've been using since their first unit) Their customer service has been superb with very fast turn-around. Fell better Grumpy.
I was so rooting for you. Hearing the tractor turn over I have both arms up in excitement! Always nice to see neighbors helping each other out. Y'all got some snow! #beingeastofCascadesadvantage . Get well Grumpy!!
Casy bless you for helping your family and friends keep up the good work and always take care of yourself and your family and friends always take care your family
Being a good neighbor is nice. Someday we all will be in a position where it would be nice to have a neighbor who can and would help us through a rough patch. Good for you and God bless.
Tuned in 6 min after posting. Usually I fast forward when channels do ads, but, because of your honesty, and forthright comments I watch each and every video completely. Thnx for that. Wish Grumpy good health. I have a GMC k1500 5.3 made in Canada. Gas eng. That has a factory block heater. i was surprised to find it. Living near Straw Palace, don't really need it, though nice to have. For my travel trailer, I use propane for fridge, heat, and cooking. 2200w gen for nukematic or ac, one at a time. Also a Renogy 100w plus a go power 120w for all 12v. (Splitters, crossovers from one type cord top rewiring in R Pod, equals grumpy old man's methodology in finding solutions piecemeal. 😀 It works for me. Per your channel, I have looked up the Delta_eco system. Most likely make my system easier, but, it is what it is for now. Another great vid, 👍 waiting for next.....if you get cold feet....heat tape around boots 👢 and solar will help. LOL!
Casey , just wanted to say thanks for letting us know about " iron king inc " subbed yesterday ( sub # 617 ) , great channel , and he's already over 5,300 subscribers . Thanks again
If you still have problems thru the winter you can also cover the engine compartment with some insulation to help keep the warmth in and speed up the process
While stationed in Alaska I learned to love moving blankets! Not the cheap ones from wallygrounds but the good thick ones. I strap one to the hood of my truck or tractor here one the farm and whatever I'm using to keep my blocks from freezing isn't working against the cold winds also. When the snow is wet or it rains a tarp will keep it dry and insulating. Generator lovers can be fools Casey! That engine running at idle doesn't burn efficiently. Like chainsaws and weed whackers they run best at higher RPMs so they are self destructing when not actually being used. FOOD FOR THOUGHT! Thank You for Grumpy, being a good neighbor shows your character. You and your family have a Merry Christmas You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
Hey Casey.. So I'm a Locksmith in Wyoming. I use a Ecoflow Delta Pro in my work van. I run everything from it, a small refrigerator, key machine, computer, and a very hungry power hungry laser printer.... It's flawless, it's a tank of a unit.... Only if the van wasn't so damn tall - I still need to service cars in parking garages with a clearance of 7'.... This van is 4WD, and I barley clear the way it is. I only wish I could install solar on the roof...

@@JanelleVocate-Ames I am real sorry to hear that. I had a full knee replacement 9 years ago. I remember the many weeks of pain and sleepless night from that. I love my echo flow Delta. I have two small ones and a 1000 watt from other manufacturers, but the Delta is the best. I can't believe how fast it charges, and how long the charge lasts. I think it was your review that convinced me to buy it.
You are a good advertiser for EcoFlo these panels are doing as advertised and I have watched both the canoo camping video and this one. Well done both you and EcoFlo!!
There are so many choices of Ecoflow models out there that honestly it boggles the mind, IMHO. So many retailers sell them making it easier than ever to find great deals on what a person needs/wants but like I said it is a bit difficult to keep all models, choices in your head to make the right choice. Small to larger Ecoflow has us covered.
Casey, at 16:04 you ask if the sign means "No LaDelles". It is a Christmas decoration!!! NO "L", (NOEL), (It took me a while to get it also.) I wish you and your family the very best of the Holiday season, and Grumpy and his family, and all of your friends that help make your channel the absolute best. REAL people doing really good work. Thank you!!
Put a 6 foot piece of 4 inch pipe under the tractor and run a propane torch through it 15 minutes and the engine is warm enough to start. Old trick used to start machinery at minus 40 out in the bush.
Hey Casey, I have two John Deere tractor for plowing in the interior of Alaska. Sounds like you need to winterize your tractor like we do. Put in a Block heater replacing a soft plug in the block, put a rubberized 70watt pad heater on the oil pan and that will be all you need for a long term fix....... Then you plug your tractor in for a couple hours prior to starting and it will start reliability,

Good thing that the Ecoflow power station can be charge using solar panels. No more worries if the grid goes down.
I could not agree more. Having those solar panels charging the Ecoflow gives you power whenever you need it the most.
But the price of Eco flow stuff are outlandish prices. Totally out of most people pocket.
You and Grumpy are a good team!
Grumpy get well soon. God bless
