- Let's ubox a very RARE Dooney & Bourke bag! This vintage Dooney Essex Top Handle has been on my wishlist for quite some time! Unboxing this Dooney Essex bag was so much fun, and the bag itself does not disappoint. If you're familiar with Dooney & Bourke AWL, then you know the quality and attention to detail that goes into each and every Dooney Essex bag. And this is certainly the pinnacle of my Dooney collection!

This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. Aside from those, I'd love to add a few more Fendi Peekaboo bags to my collection along with a Fendi Baguette. Make sure you subscribe to see what I buy this year!

: : I was in junior high when this was THE “IT” bag for all the popular rich kids in my neighborhood & school. It was also the first time I learned about replicas because my grandmother accidentally (? Lol) bought me a fake from a mall kiosk for my birthday without “realizing” it was fake. I knew when it was when I compared to my friends’ authentic Dooneys. (They were rich & my family was middle class but my friends were actually really really kind not to call me out on my fake in front of the other kids). I saved up all my money & went back to the mall a few years later at the real Dooney counter & bought my first authentic. I felt I had “made it” lol. To this day, I still remember how the leather on this bag looks, smells & feels. 🙃 it’s a pretty iconic 90s bag & to be honest I still appreciate it today. 🖤🤍🖤🖤 : :

Caleb I love the bags. Those bags look so classy. Omg the feet on the bag adds more to the elegance. The size is perfect . I have looked at some on posh mark but I am Leary of purchasing. After that experience you had. I have seen some on marketplace in my erea. I will be checking hem out. I’ll let you know what I find.

I was so excited for this 😂 I have just purchased my first Dooney and Bourke but I have no idea what the model is. It was only £9 (so like $12?!) as they're not popular in the UK and now I obviously need another bag shelf because I LOVE the look of the all weather leather!

This has got to be the perfect vintage Dooney, I’m a top handle gal and as @Styledbygwenny would say it has your, “ Basic human rights “, with the back pocket and feet 😜 I absolutely love the details of this bag, it’s really unreal! Is there a Dooney with a large heart padlock charm on the front? Some lady had it and I loved it. She said it was vintage. Is that really a Rooney?
Dooney has used the heart motif quite a bit in the past- it could have been real!
Hi ..my sister gave me a dooney and bourke bag decades ago..i wasnt able to use it as it takes time to open and close..just kept it in my closet until lately i got interest in it..however i found out that the leather handle has marks that maybe the outermost layer is coming off like a scratch..can you please give me a suggestion as to how i can restore it to look like new again..thank you...oh by the way its only now that i noticed a two one dollar bill 1988 series at the inside pocket my sister included as a good luck...thank you again..
