I used a LED mask for anti-aging for over a year and loved it and I wanted something more powerful for hair regrowth, so I bought a Biomax 600 panel and horizontal stand a little over 2 months ago. I considered a cap, but a panel wasn't that much more so I figured that was a much better value as I can treat my face & neck as well as body aches/injuries. I'm really happy I got the panel! I haven't noticed thicker hair on my head, but my eyebrows definitely grow faster, so I'm hopeful!
Oh interesting that you have noticed change in your eyebrows! Hopefully the same thing happens in your head hair as well. Maybe it will take longer for the benefits to show up given head hair is a lot longer?!
I can say that I put my head in front of a biomax for 10 mins a day and noticed a significant change in hair shedding which nearly came to a complete halt
I used my Lightstim on my head for a year and had some new growth. But then I started the Hairmax Laser Comb and I am seeing new hair everywhere. I cannot believe it. I guess the laser part makes the difference! Also, I just bought the Rouge based on your review and I like it very much. The lights are so bright it is amazing!
Red light Photobiomodulation is an effective adjuvant therapy to the conventional medical therapy for Male and Female Pattern Alopecia. This LED treatment taken twice or thrice a week for 3-4 months does improve the hair density, thickness, volume of scalp hair. It promotes new hair growth. I have been using this therapy for the past 10 years minimum. Dr. Bipin Deshpande, Dermatologist, India.
Hi Dr Deshpande, Thank you so much for your input here. You mention 2-3 times a week, do you think this is all that is needed? Would 5-7x a week be overdoing it then?
Another great podcast into a different area. I have found that using only red light without the NIR gives me better results for skin issue and I use a lower power. The results have been amazing. I think there is too much emphasis put on the need for power and often this holds back the healing.
Hey, I have my review of the ROJO panel - czcams.com/video/1slJcRMbeiI/video.html and czcams.com/video/Ki4V8H6hxHU/video.html I will also be doing a review of the BlockBlueLight panel soon as well.
Hope it works out for you 🤞. I totally agree with you about the panel idea but I had already invested in iRestore. The issue is commitment but this device has some decent background.
Yeah. I think the device was underpowered though. I'm now doing a 6 month experiment with a much higher powered device - czcams.com/video/95S6YLAiUnA/video.html
Potentially yes :) Maybe better even, though it depends on how much light is reflected off (I need to look into this topic more - I will do a video on it sometime soon)
It would be so great if it works. I bought a Recharge Flexbeam belt fromn3 weeks now. And since 1 week I'm trying to use it for hair. I put it on my bathroom mirror. I will see if it works. A friend of mine has a facial mask since 1 year, and some light covers a bit of the front hair, and the hair in that part grew whereas there was quite no hair anymore, but a little hair grew.
Alex really enjoy your videos and all the research you do. I've got the full body Biomax panels and wondered how long per day to treat my head? Noticed some of the helmets suggest 25 minutes every other day. What does your research suggest?
Hey. Check this out - czcams.com/video/x6qkqdyDMHQ/video.html Is the goal just hair regrowth? I'd say about 5-10 mins at 6-10 inches 4-5x a week. helmets are a lot less powerful than the panels.
Thank you :) Yeah I'm not too worried about going bald - I mean I accepted that it would happen over 10 years ago. But there are a lot of these devices out there and I do have a RLT channel so I figured I may as well try one!
Alex do you think it might be a better option to try an led light panel on our scalp instead for those looking for cheaper alternative to the helmet? it’s a bit expensive for me to spend over 1,000$ on this, as much as I’d like to.
I have a question I'm not sure if you can answer it but here goes. Lol. I'm 57 I had a total hip replacement coming on 5 weeks. I think I'm doing very well for it took me almost two-and-a-half years just to get insurance enough to have this total hip replacement, so you might get a little understanding of at the end I was really desperate when my insurance finally came through. I was using a walker. I didn't start using a walker till almost a month before, so I was limping and actually making my hip worse than better. I was wondering if you thought I could maybe use the red light therapy? I'm walking around with a cane at the moment doing my exercises. I believe I'm feeling well I just like maybe a little more boost. Summer school in by to fast. I've had it I have not ever used it once with good intentions though.
Hey, well if it were me I'd definitely be using RLT. You could look at a panel, or a high powered targeted device - like this - czcams.com/video/YlRRuh3tkt8/video.html but you may also want to look at the Kineon Move+ device which was designed for joints. It's more for knees and elbows, but there is no reason why you couldn't use it on the hip - it may just be a little tricky getting it setup. You can see my review on that here - czcams.com/video/0hzyu1dNtf0/video.html

Laser helps for hair, not just red light
I can say that I put my head in front of a biomax for 10 mins a day and noticed a significant change in hair shedding which nearly came to a complete halt
Whoa that is very cool!
I think my hair loss has slowed down, but it's still disappearing. Hopefully this helmet will turn that around though :)
I used my Lightstim on my head for a year and had some new growth. But then I started the Hairmax Laser Comb and I am seeing new hair everywhere. I cannot believe it. Oh wow, that is really interesting. I'm going to look into the HairMax product - I wasn't aware of it until now so thank you :)
Do lasers work better for hair loss?
Red light Photobiomodulation is an effective adjuvant therapy to the conventional medical therapy for Male and Female Pattern Alopecia.

Hi Dr Deshpande,
Thank you so much for your input here. You mention 2-3 times a week, do you think this is all that is needed? Would 5-7x a week be overdoing it then?
From my understanding red light caps , especially the more expensive ones are mostly laser light, not red and nir
Yes I think you are right. MitoRed Light have just released a headset with lasers. I'll be reviewing that after the Current Body device.
Have you seen Dr. Gary Linkov’s video on RLT for hair regrowth? He goes into the science and what to expect.
No I will check it out :)
Another great podcast into a different area. I have found that using only red light without the NIR gives me better results for skin issue and I use a lower power. The results have been amazing. I think there is too much emphasis put on the need for power and often this holds back the healing.
oh interesting, so you're just using red. It's funny as I have heard some people experimenting with exclusive NIR use and also have great results.
I hung a cheap panel from the ceiling above my full body panel. It sits about 6 inches above my head.
Probably very smart this, YES!!
Oh that is a good way to do it! have you noticed any results?
Panel alone won't do it, good caps contain mostly laser diodes
I am really looking forward to this one!!!! I WANT TO KNOW! 😯😄😄😃
Stay tuned!
Now you have my attention! Also can you do some reviews of panels available in Aus ?
Hey,
I have my review of the ROJO panel - czcams.com/video/1slJcRMbeiI/video.html

Hey, I'll be sure to keep you updated!
GO GO GO ALEX1!! Great stuff, keep us updated!
Will do!
I just lay the ironforge on my head every now and then - I need to be more consistent with it.
How long do you use it for?
It does say it has to be used every day.
Yeah. I think the device was underpowered though. I'm now doing a 6 month experiment with a much higher powered device - czcams.com/video/95S6YLAiUnA/video.html
Do you think pointing a red light panel to your hair would be just as affective as a red light helmet/cap? 🧢
Potentially yes :) Maybe better even, though it depends on how much light is reflected off (I need to look into this topic more - I will do a video on it sometime soon)
@@LightTherapyInsidersyes please do a video on this topic for us!!! Looking forward to it :)

Can you do a video about the power and the lights. There are so many of these on amazon now. I remember when they were like 4k to buy
Hey, what do you exactly by 'the power and the lights'?

you look good with a shaved head, not to be werid. as long as you tan I wouldn't worry about it
Thank you :)

thank you, looking forward to your results.
I'll keep you posted.

No I haven't :(
