    Al-Baqarah (255):
    Allah, there is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He fully knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge except what He wills to reveal. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.
    اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاواتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

      @KingEutony Před 2 lety

      @@mewzi The Qur'an cannot be translated. It is only in one language. There are so many English words that can be used to give an idea of the verse and that helps, but I don't think anyone considers the English to be ever at the same level as the original Qur'an.

  • @im5329
    @im5329 Před 3 lety +3

    Virtues of the verse:
    1. It is the greatest verse of the Holy Quran.
    2. Shaytaan - the wretched enemy of Islam - taught Abu Hurairah to recite aayatul kursi before bed so shaytaan will not approach him until the morning.
    Context of the verse.
    The Prophet was dealing with the people of the book (Jews and Christians) and the polytheists of Mecca. The former group of people added/subtracted from the religion and attributed to Allah what is untrue. The latter group took idols as their God. Aayatul kursi speaks about singling Allah in worship. It addresses their false practices directly and demolishes them. It talks about the pure essence of Tawheed and cuts off every other filthy concept.

      @perilouslambasting6816 Před 3 lety

      You can refer to the hot seat podcast on names and attributes by ustadh earlier this year for more information in sha Allah, but imam nawawi didn't carry the entire aqeedah and rather they were select issues which he took their stance in.
      Also, taking from someone who has passed away and the ummah and ulema have accepted them and their works is very different to sitting at the feet of someone who you don't know what is going to come to you from doubts. In the same way, certain works of past great mountains of knowledge who may have fallen into mistakes here and there should be taken through the lense of current scholars, and its not always a good idea to read the original sources yourself at first because we are not in the level where we can differentiate.
      Allah k mnows best, I hope this helps :)

    I have a nasseeha for you sheikh.. I would like to do it privetly but I don't know how to contact you
    You should rewatch your videos before posting because you make mistakes often.. you called Abu Hurarya radhia Llaahu anh a shaytan twice in this video and you attributed a verse from the Quran to the messenger alayhi salat wa salam (زعم الذين كفروا...)
    I watch your videos all the time and you make this kind of mistakes quite often, I know theyre just slips of the tongue but u should really edit out those mistakes before posting because this is not nice at all.

    • @user-mz8og5st8v
      @user-mz8og5st8v Před 3 lety

      From the adab and etiquettes of a student of knowledge is not to point out minor humanly mistakes (especially of the tongue)of their ustaads or the persons from which they benefit from.
      Especially when it is overwhelmingly evident and comprehensible what the ustaad is saying.
      That being said you point about watching videos before posting still stands.
      Although ustaad shoots this in one take so this like live lesson. It's like if an Aalim from the kibaar is having a lesson in one of the haramaain and he makes 1or 2 humanly mistakes of the tongue every time he holds a circle of knowledge. Will you approach that Aalim and say ..."Hey you made this slip of the tongue over herr and over here"..you probably wouldn't.
      Its not something to be mentioned and it is not mentioned.

      Also when it's a alim, the students are there to correct the sheikh (it does happen if you watch videos of the mashayikh you will see that the students sometimes point out slips of the tongue)
      But here once the video is posted thats it...
      And even if the meaning is apparent it still isnt nice to hear a honorable sahabi being called a shaytan twice when this couldve easily been prevented by editing it out.

      @@fisheggs3327 Again....who knows how many slip of the tongues ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله made in his circles of knowledge, thousands probably(I'm just estimating)
      You are being extremely unfair... one or 2 slips of the tongue is nothing when you can hear very well what was being meant and you can comprehend it.
      Again ustaad can't edit as its shot in 1 take, its basically live....
