🔰Episode 4: How to increase your Imaan?
🎯Does our Imaan increase and decrease or remain the same?(00:20)
Ans: Actually our Imaan can increase and decrease. We experience this in our everyday life. Following the commandments of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala increases our Imaan and following shaitan and our whims and desires decreases our Imaan.
However, there are many things that can increase our Imaan. Some of them are mentioned by Ustadh in this episode.
📋1. Gaining beneficial knowledge (1:18)
🎯What does beneficial knowledge mean?(1:40)
Ans: Beneficial knowledge means knowledge of the book of Allah, knowing His messenger(sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam), knowing his(pbuh) companions, then the students of the companions and their students.
📑So, beneficial knowledge is the knowledge of the Quran, the Sunnah and knowing the early three generations.
2:00- Statement of Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali(rahimahullah)
4:10- If a person is not teaching any of the above then he is not preaching beneficial knowledge
4:30- The definition of it
7:35- Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala created us for gaining knowledge
8:30- Allah swt raise the people of knowledge
10:35- Allah swt made the people of knowledge a testimony
12:00- A Hadith of the prophet(sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam)
📋2. Reciting and pondering upon the Quran increases our Imaan(13:00)
17:10- A poetry
18:20- Nothing can has More impact than the Quran
19:05- We have to ponder upon the Quran

1. *Learning benefical knowledge* - Ignorance decreases Imaaan. Benficial knowledge is to be precise
in the textual evidences. Knowing the book of Allah, knowing the hadith of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Knowing
the statments/beleifs/actions of the sahaba + tabieen (students of sahabah) + taba tabiee (students of
the students of sahabah. Also have knowledge of the monment (obligatory knowledge) of the time, this can
be acts of worship and also in transactions. KNOWLEDGE OF ALLAH, HIS NAMES AND ATTRIBUTES.
_You must have knowledge and also act upon it._
