Thanks for this video I was going to purchase one 😔 but now that I've seen this I changed my mind. However that non-stick pan you were using is very nice, what brand is that and where can I purchase one of those?
My hexclad pans are falling apart. I seasoned them regularly, but the some of the black near the rim is falling apart. I noticed my scrambled eggs had black particles. Sumbmitted a claim and getting replacements, but I'm not happy about this prior to a full year of use. My scanpans had a much better experience.
The Hexclad pan wasn't seasoned, and a regular non-stick pan wasn't seasoned either. The reason for this test is that Hexclad brags about its non-stick capabilities and shows it through different video campaigns.
No oil was used for the sunny-side-up egg test. This was a fair comparison to a regular non-stick pan since HexClad promotes its non-stick capabilities.
@@PissedConsumerCom - I understand that the test was dry-frying but Hexclad instructs that cookware is seasoned prior to first use - I was wondering if you would have had a different result if the pan had been seasoned, washed off and then tested. I'm unsure if I can agree it was a fair test when the manufacturers instructions weren't followed.
We've been testing this pan for three months already and haven't noticed significant grease build-up with proper care (Washing this pan with water and soap using only a gentle sponge). The question that pops up is: Is it easier to wash a good-quality non-stick pan than a HexClad pan? The answer is YES.
Junk i have 3 pans within 3 months coating is coming off inside customer service sucks they come up with every excuse to say it's my fault .everything sticks to it everything is hard to scrub food off it's not non stick bull
THey are durible and you can actualy use metal cookware. THey are as tough as stainless and almost but not quite as non-stick as actual teflon. I have some. That said the coating does come off

We bought a Crofton non stick pan from a few months ago from Aldi for like $25 and it works like a dream with the proper care
In my experience, 2.5 mm copper pans are the best as long as you know how to use them properly. Cast iron pans are also great. Nothing else compares.

I only use cast iron
I have them, I seasoned however they burn all the time and hard to clean but better than Teflon ones

Thank you for sharing your experience with Hexclad. We've covered the problem you mentioned in our previous video. It's frustrating...
I didn’t see the Hexclad pan getting seasoned nor was there mention of this. I think that’s important.

Yes. Hexclad says to.
Nice video Daniel. Good to see you buddy. 😊❤
Thank you!
HexClad is made in China. That is a non-starter for me. Charging a premium price for a Chinese product? Outrageous.
Did you season the hexclad pan before use?

What is the "regular non-stick pan?" It looks like it is an iron pan.
The other pan in this video is a high-quality, non-stick pan with a Teflon surface.
what manufacturer / model is the regular non stick pan?
What about burnt on grease. Does it build up? Especially in the grid patterns?

I put mine in the dishwasher, seems to work. There is no need to be gentle with these pans. They seem to withstand the same abuse as a stainless pan

Bro, did you used to be a powerlifter or college wrestler? That neck is impressive.
On the topic, I don't really see any benefit to hex cookware.
Daniel indeed has a strong background as a sportsman!
