The temptation to upgrade from my iPhone 13 Pro to the iPhone 15 Pro Max was strong. I'm going to hold off for now. During the last five months, I bought the M2 iPad Pro 11", a Macbook Air 15", and I need to upgrade my watch. Annual iPhone upgrade is not an option now that I have a family of 5 that all have Apple products.

The phone overheating issue for some people is interesting because I haven’t noticed it really at all on my 15 Pro Max after heavy use. It got pretty hot when I was transferring everything over from my old phone, but nothing since.

I had overheating happen on last years phone but I feel like after a week or so of getting it broken in and software updates, it starts cooling down and running more efficiently. Call it factory fatigue I guess 😂

I like the simplicity of using the phone when I'm doing conference and speaking engagement videos. I use a gimbal or a stabilizer grip and a portable power source until I can find the right mic to pair with my 13 Pro, so my travel bag for my gear is almost pretty much my pocket lol. So, would you say that the jump up from the 13 Pro to the 15 Pro/Pro Max would be a good idea being I use it to record and get some stills at least once a week?

You are not the only one that has said their iPhone 15 has gotten extremely hot. Since I live in the desert that is hot already that is a concern hahaha. You are an incredible photographer/videographer/creator (I'll let you choose the label haha) your photos with a cell phone camera is phenomenal. The Speed edits were hella fun to watch too.

Have two 14 pros, one regular one max. Caseless with Apple care on both, have no plans to use a case on any of the 15 pro max models I’ll be getting in due time. As long as the water resistance isn’t compromised and nothing cracks I’m good, but I don’t usually drop my phone

That’s a loaded question. Everyone’s situation is so different. Research some vids on CZcams for passive income streams through social media. But if you think this is my “lifestyle” because of just my CZcams channel it’s not in the slightest
