As far as I know, and anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, this song wasn't for a friend who passed away. Taka wrote 3 songs for his late friends. The songs are "Smiling Down", "Voice" (he wrote this song together with Pay money To my Pain) and "So Far Gone". I hope I didn't forget one.

This is one of my favorite live performance of Taka and OOR. Its breathtaking. For the next one I recommend C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. live in Nagisaen. Another example of Taka's immense talent and mesmerizing voice
