Finally, a cheap dirty way to beat the Oxide ghosts!

They work, just put the codes over the Time Trial option. That's how i beat Oxide Ghosts.

Nope. With the exception of Super turbo pads, it ain’t working.
@@hnickel4757 Dude, the super engine works. I did myself and completed all the time trials. Im 100% sure. Try it
Super Turbo pads do work in Time Trial Mode though. That's another way to cheat Oxide Ghost times.

Back when cheat codes where just button presses instead of paying, i remember writing a paper with all the codes on it xD

They will. If they did it in Spyro, they can do it in CTR
For solo races, yes. Though cheats and online multiplayer don't mix well. However maybe you could make rooms with those cheats in place: an Infinite Bowling Bomb and Super Boost Pad room.
The unlockable characters. If I remember you could unlock them all through normal game play right? Well the only one I'm not sure about is penta penguin. But I know the others can be unlocked normally. Actually makes me wonder if they will make you unlock all the characters in the remake.
You are correct. As for unlocking characters in the remakes, even if you do have to i'm pretty sure they'll have some code in there that lets you unlock everybody.
For Penta, the code is the only way to unlock him. The bosses and Fake Crash are unlocked by completing the Gem Cups and N. Tropy is unlocked by beating all of his ghosts in Time Trial.
The Super Turbo Pad cheat along with Super Hard A.I. cheat are two of my favorites.

The boost counter cheat is new to me, I already know the rest. I love the characters cheats and the scrapbook one.
Oh in my case I didn't know about the super engine, S. Hard mode and the icy tracks. I knew all the rest ones.

The infinite bombs part should have showcased N Tropy bombing the hell out of N Cortex. 🙃

They have to bring back the cheat codes for the new ctrnf game coming in june. These were fun back then.
Damn and here I was complaining that the game was too easy. Wish I knew super hard existed years ago.
It’s weird that some of these (turbo counter, 1-lap race, super hard mode) are cheats and not just normal menu options.
You dont know how awesome it was when I first heard of super hard mode. I've been using that cheat for so long cause I needed a challenge.

I knew about most of these except for Fake Crash having a code, I thought he was the ONLY one you had to unlock in adventure!

Last cheat codes I've writed are for GTA IV some years ago. Lol But the most memorables, even they weren't cheats but hints, passwords and stuff to go forward in game (you know..), I think are for Dino Crisis and RE: Code Veronica. Oh man, the memories...
when you played crash team racing or Twisted metall4 in a play1 and get all the cheats you became the king of the floor ..
They should have these in nitro fuled. Saves me time for already completing adventure mode
That chemical beaker/TNT crate cheat didn't even work at all...
Super Hard Mode is still too easy for me...
They need to put the original Spiro 2 demo on the new ctr game. Just emulate it. People would be thrilled to see it.

yeah and after imputing it you should hear a particular sound. The same that sounds right before the player in the video unlocked the scrapbook.

Wait, do you get the characters that you get from cheats forever or do you have to re-enter the cheat every time you go onto the Character Select screen.

The character cheats actually get saved.
But every other cheat its reset once you reset the game and the majority of cheats wont work on time trial mode.
