I recon they should keep the glass texture and have the Pokemon be a different colour depending on its Teraformed type instead of the oversized crown.
you could also keep the gemstone otherwise and have that be the Teraformed type colour to make its new type obvious.

The Artwork of the Gloom was Awesome with the plants and all BTW love your Videos watch them every week.
I Love the SAR for the charizard breaking through ice/crystal, he looks so mean and menacing. The other two are ok, the white background is better than the gold in my opinion as the gold seems to not have enough contrast between everything.
This set is pretty underrated, lots of awesome alt arts!

I agree, PokeRev. It feels weird that the Japanese version is released so close to the English version. Itâs probably because 151 was released first.
All the cards look amazing! 151 is the set Iâm mostly looking forward to! The new Terra cards are cool but the art rares are what Iâm looking forward to more

I'll be honet. I don't like the new Terra forms ex cards. In my opinion, they look kind of riddiculous with that Terra Form crown on their head.
If I had those Charizards I would probably just sell them.

Personally, I don't really like the standard Pokemon full art cards, and I like the trainers much more. The crowns are a bit to get used to, but I think it makes it more interesting than just a pokemon on a background

I wish they made an SAR of the tyranitar which is my favorite Pokémon, at least they made the full art though
I'm not a fan of the Head-Chandeliers but the idea behind Tera-Form is cool. I don't know why they didn't just have the crystalized look around the body and then just a smaller typing-symbol on the head or chest. Even have a colored tint to the crystalization that is representative of the typing as well. Would have looked so much better...đ€Šââ

I like the SIR Zard but the other 2... not so much. The ARs in this set are pretty sweet!
I just figured out that itâs every 3rd expansion in a named series that brings charizard to meta. Examples include burning shadows, darkness ablaze, and now obsidian flames.

I think teraform as an ability is really good with a lot of different ways to use and experiment, and I think the card design is cool, but I think the type crown is really lame. I would have rather them figured out something else to represent it

I think I actually am in the middle on this one, some of the terra cards look cool but some donât, if they did them again I would be okay with it but if they didnât make them again I would also be okay. I donât think the zards look good except the SAR
So excited for this brand new set! A lot of these art rare cards are very nice like the ninetail, gloom, pidgey family, etc.

The terraform is an interesting choice in general. The Special Alt Rare Char is cool, the gold looks a little silly to me.
Iâm not a big fan of the tera cards but I like the creativity.. maybe im just old school but, to each their own đ

So excited for this set in English! Regarding the tera Pokémon cards - I appreciate that the cards feature the 'hats' since they are so prominent in the Scarlet and Violet games.
I'm not a big fan of the charizard cards but the other full arts are niceeee terastalized. Got the geeta SAR in the pre release which was awesome.

The name of this set made me think, what if within the anime/ movies they start telling different stories within the Pokémon universe. Something different then the usual *character starts journey to become Pokémon master* what about a team of trainers that use there Pokémon for the fight against evil. Or is there something like that?
I'm just happy that my four favorite PokĂ©mon (Stoutland, Charizard, Dragonite and Tsareena) are all in one set. That's just super cool to me. đ
Not the biggest fan of the crowns, but other cards look really, really good. Prefer the 151 zards over these.
Me and my friend after 20 years of not opening a pack decided to go for it and relive our childhood. And I pulled the full art Charizard. Pretty sweet!
The Tera types are best on delta species of those Pokémon which I find cool

Honestly I am pretty in the middle abt Tera pokémon both in VG and TCG. On one hand I love the crystal look on the pokémon themselves and I think that looks clean, but I hate the jewels, if they were smaller I think it'd be fine but still there were better ways to show the tera type, like shading the crystal texture on the pokémon or having the type symbol on a full on crown or smth like that.
I wouldn't say I love the Tera cards but I do like that they're trying something different. It's no different from when they introduced VMAX and such
The names are way cooler in Japanese and Chinese. Some of those ARs are so good, like the Ninetales and the Scizor.
Perhaps you could do a battle between obsidian flames and ruler of the black flames
This is a great set. It would be great to see specific sets done around other Pokémon as well, or more skewed toward groups of Pokémon (ie water starters, psychics, etc) Too bad the other boxes were late.

The gold charizard doesn't look great, but not as bad as dragonite....I like the full arts though, they are very cool.

Out of the 3 Zahd's, I have to say, SAR makes the Terra forme look good. I love the stained glass effect of the design.

not a fan of the gold charizard, but the others are cool. as a tcg player, i think the mechanic can really change things around in the tcg, so that's pretty cool

Sooner or later, PCI will match release dates with Japanese Pokemon. Hands down to the Japanese version for better quality and presentations.

I bought the build & battle deck of this set, and it made me want to start collecting Pokemon cards again. My plan is to collect all the cards of at least this set.

I agree the illustration rare cards are the coolest some are a bit dog đ© but most are insanely cool that's best part about pokemon cards is the cards that have so much detail and tell a story this is what makes me collect pokemon is the beautiful art works I hope pokemon keep it up and just get better and better with the most beautiful cards ever
This set is tough for me. I love the featured PokĂ©mon. Charizard is my favorite PokĂ©mon but I donât like half the artworks. I want the three star rarity and the regular ex version but the tera forms are just so ugly.
Special art rare charizard is really nice, but can we move from that lizard already pleease.
