I know. This performance was incredible and to find out it's the first thing he shot is amazing I can not wait to see where he goes from here. So exited
I honestly didn’t notice the racism at all until Russell & Millie bought it up there in Unleashed, when Lindy said “You’re not one of us” I thought she was just referring to both The Doctor & Ruby being outsiders & nobodies who aren’t part of Finetime, but looking back after hearing them mention it makes so much more sense that that’s what it actually was. I really like though that it was more open to interpretation like that rather than just being super on the nose like Rosa was, and that it was just one piece of a much larger puzzle
Then Russell said, "If you didn't notice, then ask yourself why." Bruh, the reason I didn't notice was the same reason as yours. Also, I was too immersed into the plot and its rules.
i also thought that they weren't part of Finetime, and the residents were all "rich" with $$$ and lindy knew the doctor and ruby were neither. not because of racism.
The reason I didn’t notice until that exact same point at the end of the episode is I’m not obsessed with the colour of peoples’ skin. I presume in RTD’s world that makes me the bad guy.
As an Indian man I did not think about the race aspect. I hated that she let that kind guy die for her that was traumatic to me. The bit with the doctor just exacerbated that very dark but great episode and I’m not even woke.
“Why do you think racism is only in the past?, when you look at what’s happening to the world” - took my breath away Russell. This episode was so intense in the best way, and Ncuti did more than justice for his first episode filming.
@@404TVfryou touch grass first, this episode is just as racist as any white supremacist, the only reason people are viewing it as “brave” and “stunning” is because we’ve been told to hate ourselves or see ourselves as victims. RTD and his ilk of wealthy elite class mates don’t want unity, they want division across the masses. They want the audience to either be left or right, human beings are far more complicated than that but today’s media and internet bubbles make you like RTD. RTD has white saviour complex written all over him
Im glad they didn’t explain it as if the audience is dumb -> they didn’t do what the whittaker era did where they explained it all -> they just show it. We understand. They let the audience work it out and then made it a bit more obvious at the end. The best episode so far of new season 1 + 60th.
Expect that ending proved to us subtlety is an inefficient way to communicate a message, since a consistent portion of people didn't see it watching the episode, until someone else on the Internet pointed them out or they saw the content of this behind-the-scenes video. If there is the need of sources that are external to the story itself in order to "see" the implications the author wants to sell with it, well... what's the point in using subtlety in the first place, then? Just read some of the comments here, for further proof. _"Dot and Bubble"_ proved very well how subtlety doesn't work, since can be easily misunderstood, leading to different interpretations from the intended one. Not all members of the audience understood, and letting just someone of them understand is not functional nor sufficient if your intent is to be "understood". If that's not your plan, well... that's a totally different matter.
@@UomodAltriTempi but asides from online the episode shows exactly how people are racist in real life. it's almost never 'in your face', they hide it pretty well. i think the subtlety is a plus here
@@therandomvideochannel8589 Yeah, but that's also how classist people behave: I've heard the "contamination" line specifically from classists I had the misfortune to meet (even distant family members), in regard to poorer people than them. My point still stands, though: why should you "hide" it, if your intention in literally to show it and make sure it is received from all (or, at least, the majority of) the audience..?
@@UomodAltriTempiit’s hinted throughout the entire episode and the people at the end only really had issue with the doctor specifically, I’d say the message was pretty clear and that the majority of people got it, and the fact some people didn’t get it further emphasises the point, it’s supposed to show the micro aggressions that people who don’t have to face that kind of discrimination wouldn’t notice but those who see it see it
@@lumin10 trust me when i say alot of black and brown caught on the microaggressions going on. i have watched it together with my four friends and we are black . the side eyes we were given each other throughout the episode was funny as hell lol. even my gran called me and told me when she exactly knew what was really going. meanwhile all of my white friends didn't noticed one goddamn thing the till the reveal at the end.
I'm so glad the show is actually properly acknowledging the new Doctor's appearance and creating real, dramatic situations that only this doctor would have to face. Its incredibly refreshing and interesting to see the Doctor face challenges he's never had to before based solely on his looks. There were so many opportunities to do something like this in Jodie Whittikers era, where the Doctor being a woman would create drama and cause tension in areas where a male Doctor would thrive, but other than a couple references and jokes, it was all played so safe, to the point where a female Doctor didn't even feel different.
I feel exactly the same. In fact, I think you're the first person I've come across who has stated this too. Jodie's doctor was never utilised properly and there were so many opportunities to use the fact that she was female to great effect. I was disappointed that they sidestepped that.
I agree. I also felt like they didn’t show how she might do things differently BECAUSE she was a woman, might feel differently or react differently and that might affect the outcome of a situation. Truly lost opportunities all around.
I think the point was precisely that one: to show that, men or woman, it doesn't matter. The Doctor is still the same alien who tries to save the day, even if humans could treat her differently for her look.
Even without the complete back ground and with the back ground noise, this is still an amazing scene. It just goes to show what utterly amazing actors Ncuti, Millie and Callie are.
Well done with the episode. I honestly didn't notice the racism at first. Yes, I heard the "smarter then he looks" and "looked the same" lines, but I thought it was because he was older. Only realized at the end. "Not one of us" "Voodoo" "Contaminated". The dots were right.
Yup I knew she was irredeemable after Ricky (RIP) but "You, sir... are not one of us" was when the penny finally dropped there was a reason everyone had been so white.
For me, I didn't get it immediately, but on a rewatch, I realized that there weren't any people of color in the bubble and I saw just how much the racism is sprinkled throughout.
That was his first scene?! Wow he absolutely smashed it such an impressive scene, honestly I'd say this episode is worth a watch from even non-Dr Who fans just from how they handle the twist, it's so subtley worked in but at the same time when it clicks, you might feel as ignorant as the characters in the episode, it's so amazingly meta. There were a couple lines that flagged the racism part up for me like Lindy saying the Doctor "looks the same" but I assumed it was just part of her being a rich white girl ditz, I never expected a Dr Who script to pull something like this off, this has to be up there with some of the all time best Who episodes easily.
@@badwolf66 it gave me vibes of a Black man unleashing 30 years of frustrated rage at the stupidity of it all. Absolutely devastating, but beautifully acted by all involved.

As a mixed raced man, I can honestly say that the racial aspect of this episode went completely over my head! I only found out after watching this clip from Unleashed 🤷🏽♂️
Not mixed race, I am white, but I feel like it's fine that it went over your head, it went over mine too. I think because it seemed more like it was based around classism than racism at the time. In hindsight though this does make sense.
@@jvictor001 My media literacy is fine thanks; I have a film and media degree 😂 however, I feel that the racism message went over my head because I thought that the main message was about class and technology controlling our lives. Upon reflection, I do now see the subtle racism hints that were dropped throughout, they just didn’t land with me on my first viewing.
@@SmartSmears Yeah the voodoo line and "people like you" is what made me realise. And then I thought back about it and realised stuff like her blocking the Doctor but not Ruby and getting mad at them being in the same room was all hinting at it
i didnt think about racism at first. it was more of a classism for me at first, they are priviledged, wealthy part of the elite. Bc Ruby got the same treatment as the doctor i found. I connected the dots as why they were all white is bc the society came from racist backgrounds and not racist intentionally. Why didnt i think about it? Because i am a white person. Us vs Them in the elite vs normal 'peasants' crossed my mind first. It is probably both, Ruby was 'them' and the Doctor was 'them + Black'
I honestly just thought the voodoo comment was RTD trying to imply the racism, but I am amazed I didn’t actually realize how deep it went! This whole season has been banger after banger after banger. Legitimately, I do not know how any other season of this show could beat the confidence of this one.
This was a really great episode with a really great twist. It's just not a great look to actually SAY youvwere trying to trick the audience into feeling racist. You can THINK it. But it's not a good look to actually admit it.
that was good acting one of the better episodes this and 73 yards have been good so far hopefully it keeps up like this. I didn't realise anything until the end it got to me and for his first day it was good acting that Ncuti did fantastic.
I think if you don't notice it, it probably means that you're not racist. I'm very glad it took me to the end of the episode to clue in - living in a state where the first thing you see is race, instead of the person, their actions and personality and strengths and foibles, is a terrible way to live.
Not trying to start a fight, but wanted to provide an alternative point of view. You say that it is a terrible thing to live a life where the first thing you notice and think about is skin color. I think you're right. However, I would like to suggest to you that "not seeing race" is something that is generally only available *to white people* when we're talking about a western cultural context. People of color are "racialized," which means that they are treated differently based on their race, which further means that it becomes a survival skill to be aware of the race of people around them. It's extremely common for people of color to feel uncomfortable when in a space where they are the only person of color, for example. This is because our legal system would likely not side with them in case one or more of the white people around them decided to hurt them. This may sound unlikely to you, but the fear they experience in those situations is very real and not unreasonable. White privilege does not mean "oh, white people are paid more" or "white people can get away with anything." One thing that it means is that our success in life is not based on our ability to navigate racial situations. We experience many, many fewer situations where our race is an important factor. People of color experience LOTS of situations where their race is important. Basically, the way poc immediately see race isn't evidence that they are somehow "racist" or that "race is too important to them", it is evidence that race is *more important in their daily lives than it is in ours, and this affects how they see the world.* The fact that white people are less likely to "see race" is *not* a sign that we are not racist, nor is it a sign that we ARE racist. It is, however, a sign that race is *not as important to us.* It can mean that race is a blind spot in our thinking, and that we may not recognize or understand more complex racialized situations because of how little experience we have with them. It's not a moral failure on our part, but I think it's fair to say that being more aware of race in general is a meaningful act of empathy that sets us up to be a better ally to the people around us who are less privileged or advantaged. Is it good or bad that you took to the end of the episode? Neither. I want to be clear I'm placing no judgment upon you, because I understand where you're coming from and I know you honestly mean well. I'm just hoping to communicate that the nature of the situation is maybe more complicated than you think and gently nudge you to consider why or why not a white person might see race more or less than a person of color would.
I can say truthfully that I caught on to the racism pretty early on, just with small micro aggressions that she had with the doctor specifically, to her, not recognizing him from before, not realizing that he was the same man who tried to talk to her in the beginning, then, in the alley, when she’s in a corner, crying and all her friends are on screen, I did notice they were all white and made a little joke to myself like “what if she’s racist “ and then I let that sit with me for a second or two in the episode and it did it make more and more sense to me and the reveal was just confirmation of what I was thinking, this is an interesting episode in terms of its audience on how quickly they can pick up on these things. I’m curious if anyone else saw what I saw early on
For me it clicked with the comment about looking stupid or maybe not being as stupid as he looks or whatever. I looked at his outfit and thought "What? He looks totally norm--oh, they're racist."
I didn't think anything about the people in the story until the very end what it was trying to communicate because I was too busy focusing on the story rather than trying to focus on the optics. I don't think in race. I just watch to watch.
i didnt notice that this was about racism to me it was a typical 'we are a closed community, everyone who is none of us is bad/wrong' type of thing since it was a closed community/cult just in the future lol
This story was without doubt one of the best packed RTD has done the shock about Ricky took away the events after and the way it was covered over this episode 100% needs to be rewatched because from the start this deeply unlikable person was showing her true self and the real monster was her. The line about him being disciplined was chilling and the entire encounter even as the true nature of this society became apparent he still wanted to help them. If anything confirmed the right people were cast it was tonight's episode. On a side note insane theory time. I wonder if Susan Twist is the Memory TARDIS and she's following them through time until the moment she reveals the true origins of both of them..
Susan first appears when Donna dropped the coffee in the tardis console. Could well be something from the tardis that has leaked into the outside world.
Possible Spoilers: In the last episode, there is this sort of poster with her on it called S TRIAD. The name is Susan Triad, but S TRIAD is literally an anagram for TARDIS. It isn't outside the realm of possibility.
The episode is designed to make people feel bad by tricking people into thinking Lindy's attitude is based on her rich, Gen Z echo-chamber mindset where people who aren't rich and in the echo-chamber are outcasts. It then does a complete 180 at the end and reveals that it's actually because they're all racist - something The Doctor and Ruby didn't notice either, mind.
@@NotAgnor You guys are weirdly defensive of this episode; almost more so than the 73 Yards fans. I've explained why the Dot and Bubble racism revelation is bad. If you lack the words to counter my argument, perhaps you need to work on your own media literacy skills before commenting on mine 😉
@@RetroActiveGM weirdly defensive about rejecting r-racism..? Do you not think that’s saying something? Idk where you’ve got the lacking words thing from, my media literacy is fine thank you, I’m the one that actually picked up on the blindingly obvious themes of the episode 😉

Was he too old, not part of the group etc… It was only after watching things like this that I realised the racist angle. Maybe I’m too liberal, but I totally missed it in the episode, is that right or wrong?
It means you’ve not learned to pick up on these things, which means that you may not notice when real racism is happening. There were so many things that should have been red flags scattered throughout the episode, and the final comments should have spelled it out completely for you. If you did not notice them then stop, evaluate, and think how you can be more aware of these issues (and be aware that the fact you dont notice them is a reflection of a privilege. Some people have to notice them)
Not at all! I’m mixed raced and completely missed the racism being portrayed too. I feel it’s because I was focusing on the social media message that it just went over my head.
I feel so dumb for this exact reason, I think for me it was that the whole thing about them being a community of 'rich kids' as Ruby put it earlier in the episode had me only looking for those signs. I thought they didn't want to travel with him because they viewed him as poor or 'not one of them'.
No, maybe you're just missed it because you weren't paying attention to the behavior they were showing towards the doctor! I certainly wasn't, because I thought this was just a "phone Bad" episode, I was looking for commentary regarding social media!
Found the uneducated comment. If you're watching an Indian movie, they ARE Asian. The answer is also no. As derianimp says, you completely missed the point, which isn't surprising given the rest of your comment.
@@Elwaves2925 I mean, technically Turkey is in Asia, but nobody calls Turks ( or Uzbeks or Arabs, or Iranians) "Asian", unless they blow up something in London and the media wants to obfuscate who the perpetrators actually were. Indians generally aren't considered Asian. "Asian" is more a specific racial/genetic term, than merely denoting someone on the continent of Asia, and is historically specific to Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and other SE Asian ethnicities and language groups. Indians are very distinctly their own thing, and so generally get called just Indian, or "Desi" if they're northern Indians. So, he's not wrong to make the distinction between them. Indians certainly make that same distinction. And he's quite right to point out that Russel's "anti-racism" attitude is ironically only directed at a single racial group (just like Moffat's anti-religious zealotry never seems to reach beyond one religion).

It was the good scene of the episode. The doctor just said, 'I can do anything.' Then Lidy's reaction could have been a beginning where he would start to realize that he was not such mighty being. Sorry but considering the 60s london episode was diverse, and issac newton was raceswapped and everything the bbc puts out now is diverse i noticed within the first 10 minutes that this was an all white cast, did i think it was racism strait away... yes. Because the disney/bbc would literally never allow an all white cast now for anytime unless it was for reasons like this
@@404TVfr You have some example of modern BBC/Disney shows that have all-white casts that aren't about racism or some other ism they only seem to call out when it concerns white people? They literally race-swapped Isaac Newton because the only other actors in that episode were already white and they couldn't allow an all-white cast for an episode that wasn't a lecture on some social issue. It appears to be legitimately against the BBC/Disney hiring policies to hire an all white case, except when the program is aimed at painting the characters as evil or wrong.
Honestly many shows are still so white I didn't realise till the end there. For me Doctor Who still stands out as being a very diverse series, with believable Black characters that is not made by Shonda Rhimes.
There has not been a single drama that the BBC has produced in the last five years that has had a cast as white as this episode And of course, it's because the white people were racists
I didn't "work it out" during the episode. Neither did the Doctor and Ruby. It's because I don't care about skin colour like they don't either in the episode. It would be interesting to explore how other races can also be racist by these standards. Just imagine if The Doctor was still white or even Asian and landed on a planet where everyone was black and the story played out the same way.... Yep, other races and cultures can also be racist, not just white people! This is a subject that should also be explored sometime for fairness and balance! ❤
I believe it would be cool to do it in the way that he is a timelord. As the huge timewar happened long ago and many planets probably were destroyed during it. They could potentially show that as entire species hating timelords because of what they caused to happen. So they have a sort of refugee camp for aliens with a no violence rule, even letting in more sketchy dangerous aliens but the moment the Doctor comes to help he gets attacked because he’s a timelord and they blame him for the works of his people.
As a white man, I've experienced similar racism to this the last time I visited majority black regions of Africa.. 😮 Not a bad episode though but it was a shame that the pop star guy was killed off because he would've made an excellent companion!

i caught a whiff of the race stench first time the Doctor was blocked by Lindy-- credit to the actress though on her facial expressions it was subtly accurate. but i thought it was just a minor thing, didnt expect that it will be the gut-wrenching emotional and logical stab at the end.
I keep reading articles on how marvellous an actor he is - but yet when I watch - I don't see it -Eccleston had presence and could deliver emotion in a word. Tennant less so - but he could portray "the alien inside " very well. The one that made the most impression from the recent doctors was Jo Martin- she walked like she had been in the role for years, had authority and you ignore her voice at your peril ! They definitely missed an opportunity there...
He does the same to other actors. What's your point. He came in, begged these bigots to let him help, after spending a whole episode saving them. They are barely able to walk, and they don't care. They're gonna die, he knows this. He screams with it. Everything was for nothing. They are all doomed. His acting shows this, he's fantastic. Why does he have to do 110% in order to be seen as doing 100? Why is it always like this for people like you.
One thing I've not seen anyone else mention is that the Doctor is especially demeaning and conceited to Lindy. I mean, yes, she's got the intellectual capacity of a child, but it certainly wasn't helping him form that relationship with her, and the others (who he left muted during the whole explanation of how to escape). I know it's common for the Doctor to panic and act like he knows better than anyone else, but in this case, he was sitting peacefully outside of the dangerous situations, and had no reason to act with such hubris. And at the end, he's even worse, basically saying that these people are useless without him. Obviously, they were clueless and ignorant, but usually the Doctor gets that immediately, and works with them to help elevate them. He doesn't save everyone, of course, but at least some usually connect with him eventually. Is there something wrong with this Doctor? I mean, intentionally? Is the story some kind of "alternate universe Doctor" where he's not able to have that gentle, kind, inspiring charm?
I thought Lindy muted them all? Also, it wouldn't make any difference to the escape explanation as muting only silences them, they can all still hear the Doctor. Given the way she was and that she wasn't interested in any type of connection to him, even though he was trying to save her life, I think she got off lightly.
Sorry RTD, I had no clue until the end and even then I wasn't sure they were racist - I thought maybe I'd imagined it and had to double check. IDK maybe it's because I live in a small village where everyone is white, and eveyone at the company I work for is also white. Nobody is racist as far as I know. It's just not very multi-cultural until you get to the more urban areas.

I need this to be known. Racism affected the whole world. Most people who are racist don't know they are. We drink on weekends because of racism, the slave trade today would scale up in our money to trillions. All that affects the world. Because of this, it's hard to really see racism. Most people can't. Clowns started as black face. These things are just normal now and they can be aggressive and uncomfortable because of this. American country styles with cowboy hats and hide leather with belt buckles comes from white people dressing up as native americans. Cowboys were mostly black and native, very few white men wanted to run around in the desert when they could settle down with a family. These things just are invisible. Pocahontas is not her real name, Sacagawea who led the settlers of the Americas across to the Pacific coast has her name mispronounced in schools. These are tactics of racism. Racism came from justifying the actions of America's creation. The repercussions are so vast and invisible that you no I can see them. A bubble you could say, right in front of our face is the danger and we don't see. Most people nowadays are racist by accident. That's why, it being invisible to you is quite normal. Racism sadly is normal.
You would have probably realised it from the beginning if you watched more tv. According to modern intersectional progressive identity politics, everybody being white is evidence of racism.

I didn't get the racism card from the episode. *It is dumb.* I kinda assumed it was a quarantine thing for aliens, to avoid contamination. One would guess that future humanity is past racism, as they intermingled with Catkind and blue-skinned people.
They were literally about to go off into the wilderness and you thought it was about quarantine? They spelled it out seconds before. They emphasised that she was talking about the doctor specifically, not him and ruby. Lindy reacted with horror earlier in the episode when she realised that ruby and the doctor were in the same room. And she repeatedly ignored the doctor while listening to ruby Also look up sundown towns. This sort of thing isn’t a made up fantasy. It’s not even a thing of the past. It’s a reality that used to be much more widespread but still exists to this day. Setting it in the future was a very deliberate choice. Progress isn’t linear. We can regress to horrifying racism. There is nothing about time going forward that erases bigotry. Progress happens because people continually insist that it does.
@@roanc3709 It is still dumb. Humanity made contact with other species - they must have developed aversion to the other species and shouldn't racist to each other. @@volo870 who says these people aren’t also racist to other alien species? Why would meeting an alien make a white supremacist not a white supremacist anymore? They reference god, showing they are religious. Some Christian religions (e.g Mormonism) have anti blackness and white supremacy ingrained into their core religious beliefs. Being aware of other alien species wouldn’t change that, it would just make them bigoted towards more groups. All the episode says lore wise is that at some point in the future there is a community of white supremacists who do not think people of colour should be allowed into their community or to interact with them in any way. There are plenty of people in real life today who think the same, and it doesn’t counteract any established dr who lore (the presence of communities that aren’t white supremacist at some point in the future doesn’t mean that in the entirety of humanities future it’s impossible that some people are still white supremacists). This is not a nice possibility for the future. But that’s a deliberate choice to point out that progress is neither linear or guaranteed.
Why does Shooty make me wince every time he opens his mouth? The response to this racism is luke warm to say the least, probably because hardly anyone is watching. RTD thinks he's god of Dr Who and contraversial. He's delusional.

This felt like when I learned that 'Time of the Angels' was the first episode Matt shot as the Doctor. Absolutely brilliant performances
Then Russell said, "If you didn't notice, then ask yourself why."
Bruh, the reason I didn't notice was the same reason as yours. Also, I was too immersed into the plot and its rules.
Watch it back... When the doctor shows up in the bubble straight away the disgust in her face... Absolute same as you I was oblivious
i also thought that they weren't part of Finetime, and the residents were all "rich" with $$$ and lindy knew the doctor and ruby were neither. not because of racism.
She said specifically “Because you, Sir, are not one of us”
The reason I didn’t notice until that exact same point at the end of the episode is I’m not obsessed with the colour of peoples’ skin.
I presume in RTD’s world that makes me the bad guy.
As an Indian man I did not think about the race aspect. I hated that she let that kind guy die for her that was traumatic to me. The bit with the doctor just exacerbated that very dark but great episode and I’m not even woke.

I have a sneaky feeling 15 is going to be my favourite. He’s just phenomenal. Him and Ruby work SO well together.

Well done with the episode. I honestly didn't notice the racism at first. Yes, I heard the "smarter then he looks" and "looked the same" lines, but I thought it was because he was older. Only realized at the end. "Not one of us" "Voodoo" "Contaminated". The dots were right.

There were a couple lines that flagged the racism part up for me like Lindy saying the Doctor "looks the same" but I assumed it was just part of her being a rich white girl ditz, I never expected a Dr Who script to pull something like this off, this has to be up there with some of the all time best Who episodes easily.

Are you saying Shonda Rhimes doesn’t make believable black characters or did I misinterpret?
Seriously? Everything that the bbc/disney puts out is diverse. What do you even mean most shows are mostly white?
There has not been a single drama that the BBC has produced in the last five years that has had a cast as white as this episode

I didn't "work it out" during the episode. Neither did the Doctor and Ruby. It's because I don't care about skin colour like they don't either in the episode. That's not something I use to judge people or TV programmes or anything!
That scene I immediately got it and I was just as shocked as the Doctor, that's great TV! And it all makes sense, they've been living in their toxic bubble that has made them that way, and it's so sad. And it's real today too! Heart wrenching stuff! And it makes people think! Really great work!
“Guys, they’re all white? Did you notice? Like all the people in that echo chamber are white! It’s not diverse at all! Isn’t that just awful?”
That’s Doctor Who, starring David Tennant and Catherine Tate, produced by Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner, Jane Tranter and Phil Collinson, composed by Murray Gold, and written by RTD, Steven Moffat, Kate Herron and Briony Redman.
But yeah Russell, we’re the problem for not noticing an all-white cast 👍

Its a predominantly white country lol
It would be interesting to explore how other races can also be racist by these standards. Just imagine if The Doctor was still white or even Asian and landed on a planet where everyone was black and the story played out the same way.... Yep, other races and cultures can also be racist, not just white people!
This is a subject that should also be explored sometime for fairness and balance! ❤
Would never happen in today's climate.
Not a bad episode though but it was a shame that the pop star guy was killed off because he would've made an excellent companion!

i caught a whiff of the race stench first time the Doctor was blocked by Lindy-- credit to the actress though on her facial expressions it was subtly accurate. but i thought it was just a minor thing, didnt expect that it will be the gut-wrenching emotional and logical stab at the end.
RTD salivating over Gatwa's performance never seems to stop. Can't he just let the acting speak for itself?
Bruh this is a behind-the-scenes thing.
"Why is he talking about the episode's content in the behind-the-scenes episode???"
2:15 I didn't think about that because I'm supposed to be watching Doctor Who.
So black people just shouldn't be a part of society then.
You were?

Also look up sundown towns. This sort of thing isn’t a made up fantasy. It’s not even a thing of the past. It’s a reality that used to be much more widespread but still exists to this day. Progress happens because people continually insist that it does.
