DO NOT TO RELEASE SNAKEHEAD TO THE WILD.
snakeheads can be voracious predators. Should snakeheads become established in ecosystems, their predatory behavior could also drastically disrupt food webs and ecological conditions, thus forever changing native aquatic systems by modifying the array of native species.

Stuff like this is why i got into fish keeping and setting up tanks. That feeling you get when you're all done and you take a step back to admire your work unmatched.
I know that feeling.when everything is done.
There will be a full sense of achievement.
glad to see your message.
@@ferretwonderland Absolutely, beautiful tank man keep it up. You gave me alot of ideas for my setups.
@@erikcarrillo7378 Thank you. let's work hard together.

Agree and it's so relaxing.🙏🏴
How has it already been 2 years? I can remember you first getting it wow. Great job you're one of my favourite channels ❤
Thank you,my friend. I am so glad to see your message. I hope you will always support me in the future.

I didn't realize how versatile foam can be. Great job cutting it to look like rocks.
The way you just dive into the project at hand, reminds me of me lol focused and fast paste, messy but precise 🥰 and all is well and wonderful when the project is finished. Im proud of you! This build is amazing and the finish is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. You have my unconditional support in this hobby 🌿 I have learned so much from you just by watching, you’re an inspiration! Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's always great to hear that someone finds inspiration and learns from someone else's work, and I'm glad that I can help you in that way. If you have any questions or need any help with your own projects, feel free to ask!
You have created a wonderful home for your fish! Your knowledge of what to plant to make it interesting and where you placed them is outstanding. Thank you for sharing your creation!
Thank you so much. I am so glad to seeing your meassage.
You are incredibly crafty and taking advantage of using what's around you, then knowing which plants will benefit from the environment the most, and to placing every little stick in it's place. You got my attention for 12 minutes and contemplating making room in my grow space for a small tank!
That snakehead is adorable, unfortunately they are invasive in my country, especially the south/east region.
Thank you for thinking of the environment. It may be easily dismissed as not an issue but here in Australia we are burdened with runaway populations of invasive fish. The native fauna have not evolved with these new invaders and quickly succumb to them. European carp have devastated waterways and now Tilapia are impossible to remove from sub tropical wetlands and rivers.
@@teeanahera8949 Invasive fish and crustaceans are a pretty significant issue where I am in Canada as well, and I've been able to see the impact over my own lifetime so far. Invasive foraging fish and freshwater mussels have decimated the population of some native species, and the mussels have changed the water chemistry enough that some plants no longer exist in the area. Freshwater clams (none of the local species are/were actually clams) are seemingly extinct, I haven't seen any sign of a living one since I was very young. Just old broken shells left. The only native species that are still thriving are the predatory fish that don't really care whether they're eating native prey or invaders.
Wow this is incredible. You’ve created an awesome ecosystem. That snakehead has the life.
Thank you for loving it.
You are quite the artist.
Made a paladarium years ago. Not half as nice as this, but I enjoyed it while I could. Tried using flagstone for the hard scape which is limited in what you can create. So many different options now for hard scaping than what I knew about then. This gives me a lot more ideas to work with. Can’t wait to start on a new project. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you so much!!I remember when I made my first fish tank it was bad.
But with more practice, it will get better and better.
I am so glad to help you.
Beautiful! Beautiful tank! Beautiful fish! I love your choices of music. So relaxing.

My favorite build!! I love it so much Imma try and recreate it, my way. Thank you for this masterpiece
What kind of material did you use to make the clear lid? I have to do that for mine I've been using plastic wrap. The tank looks so natural and beautiful, fitting for such an amazing fish.
PVC Clear Desk Pad Transparent Plastic Desk Mat.Thank you for loving it.
Nearly moved me to tears when gymnopedie 1 started playing with the pretty scenery
O cenário do aquário ficou muito bonito.
Get an oscillating multi tool. Useful for loads of intricate stuff and being able to plunge gut is really useful

Scapepro
Ive never seen a snakehead before, its beautiful! And your setup is just gorgeous i love it!
Thank you for loving it.
they're pretty but bloody viscous and invasive
Hey man, this is one of the best aquarium/terrarium's I've ever seen! Most zoo's don't make stuff half as nice as this! And if you want to know if your Snakehead is a male of female, females tend to be smaller than males, and have a shorter dorsal fin along with smaller snout and upper jaw.
Hey there! Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it! This aquarium/terrarium is indeed a labor of love. And thanks for the tip on identifying the Snakehead's gender-I'll keep an eye out for those characteristics!
Wow, it's already been 2 years for this asiatica. I remember the first time you made a video, she (he?) just about 10cm. Look how big it is now.
Anyway, nice tank as usual
Yes,She(He) is about 18-20cm.Thank you for your support.
Absolutely stunning and wonderful creativity. What biological filtration is there or is the passive gravel, plants and the bacteria coated surfaces of the waterfall enough?
Thank you so much for loving it.
Use pump to make biological cycle,
For now,
Plants and aquatic plants are surviving well.
Speaking of absolutely stunning… damn 🤩
Hi ! What you do is really beautiful, I watch your videos a lot, thank you for sharing! I just set up a paludarium inspired by yours I just have a question please. Where to put the heater? With the pump? Thank you
With the pump.
Beautiful fish
Amazing setup, thanks for sharing
Thank you for loving it.
This is amazing! i feel relaxed thank u for video

This is so amazing! Do you use an external filter or just the pump on the side? How many cm has the water column?
just the pump on the side. The water column depends on how high your tank is.
Thx ferred iam so rilex to see this, Keep going on and share about nature. Asiatica Redstrip white spot
Thank you for loving it.
See your stuff first time. Love it🥰🙏 Left an abo ✌️
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful setup and amazing fish. Reminds me of the peacock gudgeon but 10x the size lmao
Hi FW
Wanted to say beautiful work and great video and taking the time to share with all of us let me know if you do work on the side otherwise
Thank you so much God Bless 😊
Thank you for loving it.
Smallest bow saw ive ever seen haha amazing tank!
its hard to tell but if youre planning to put them together you might need a bigger tank
Amazing work, you open a portal from another world
Thank you for loving it.
bro your video is literally therapy
Spettacolare!
Haha
Beautiful can you pls make a full tutorial about using expanding foam pls
Okay, I will make one.
What material did you use for the lid? Amazing build!
Use pet fence.
素晴らしい!
憧れます👍
This tank is really cool! I love the fish too. What kinda foam did you use for it and how much did it cost for the entire tank?
Thank you! I used expanding foam to create the background and the rocks.I haven't calculated how much money I spent on making this fish tank.
SerpaDesign (Tanner) talks about that stuff. You could use a whole container on a larger tank, potentially. It just depends on your setup.
Gorgeous creation of yours... should be very nice if i can copy that for my emperor snakehead
It's great. If you have any problems, you can tell me.
beautiful snakehead
You make carving expanding foam into stone look really easy. Would you say it’s easy or is just me hoping?
😂😂
In the beginning, carving expanding foam was not easy.LOL
This guy is REALLY good at it. You will not find it so easy if you haven’t done it before. Prepare to spend HOURS on it for something decent looking.
@@Stwinky Thank you.
Do these last a long time? And how do you prevent mold from taking place?
Beautiful tank 👍🏻
How you make such beautiful aquariums
this is magnificent beautiful premium craftsmanship
It's nice of you.
It is amazing, but how you clean the tank
So cool i would love to learn how to aqua scape
Wow. That’s amazing
Looks beautiful! Where do you buy the foam from do you have a link by any chance?
She liked the comment but no link lol
One day I’ll have a paludarium, it’s mesmerising having a tiny corner of nature inside our house!
So satisfying and amazing project
Thank you for loving it.
Amazing terrarium ❤ . Could you please tell me which brand foam spray did you use?
Scappro
amazing! so inspirational.
Thank you for loving it.
So beautiful! I want to do this for a 10 gallon & goldfish
That's a great idea! However, please note that goldfish require a larger space to swim, so you may need a bigger aquarium. Thank you for your comment.
they are really gentle for their looking...
Hi, can I ask for what materials u used for making the lid?
Thank you for the very helpful video Where can I get the AQUASCAPING used in the video?
Aquarium store or amazon.
Wow gorgeous, u make me wanna try to build a tank like that
Thank you for loving it.I am so glad to see your message.
Question. What foam are you using and how do you call the material with the squares window work?
Expanding foam for aquarium and the squares window that is plastic and hard mesh board
very great and so beautiful!!!
Thank you so much!!
snakehead fish is very cool that fish is very popular in my country as a pet, my friend also has an asiatica type snakehead
snakehead is very popular in my country, too. But some of snakeheads are very expensive .
Love the video. But, well I can't be the only one. This song is from..alot of things lol
Thank you for loving it.
Is there any reason the corner area where you have the water pump is so big? It looks like it could fit much more stuff there like a filter or heater. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love ❤️
You got it!!
Beautiful fish and home for the fish

黒色のウレタンスプレーはどこのメーカーのものでしょうか?
素晴らしすぎます🎉

ブランドは Scapepro
Really nice.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
太美了,加油
謝謝你!!
ahh incredible!!
I love all your stuff! Love love love 💕 the inspiration. Thank you. 🙏🏽
But I would just make one suggestion, for your own safety! When you’re sawing the wood, or cutting anything with a sharp tool, your opposite hand should be made into a ‘fist’ against the table-as in not having your fingers point out, with your palm flattened. Basically, no fingers spread open near the sharp tools! I was worried watching! 😱 😱 😱 haha. Jk. I knew you were fine, but it’s a good idea. It’s what they teach in cooking classes too-when cutting with a knife (or saw), your fingers should be curled under, with the free hand made into a fist to protect the fingers more 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words and your valuable safety tip! I truly appreciate your support and I'm glad you enjoy my content. Safety is indeed a top priority, and your advice about proper hand positioning when working with sharp tools is extremely important. I'll definitely keep that in mind and follow your suggestion to ensure a safer approach in my videos. Thanks again for looking out and sharing your insights! 🙏😊
Beautiful scape well done, I’ve learned a lot. Oh if you’re tired of sawing I wouldn’t buy a drill by the way. Won’t be much help.
Thank you for your suggestion.
wow thats amazing. could you share the dimensions of the tank?
90*45*60cm
Que tipo de espuma es esa para hacer la forma de roca?
Wow... its amazing !!
Thank you!
Nice video!!! What materials do you use (brands) in the video? Thanks
Scapepro
Do you had any other snakehead fish like pulchra or andrao
Or maybe a maruliodes??
Gorgeous! Based on my rough observations, Tica is female. The spots/dots on the dorsal fin are aligned neatly in a line.. Male spots/dots on the dorsal fin would be more scattered and do not make a discernible pattern
Great, you are so professional~
I think she's a girl too.LOL
@@ferretwonderland I’m pretty sure she’s female. I’ve got 2 female Channa Asiatica myself, along with a pair of Channa Bleheri and a Channa Marulioides.
You can also tell the sex by looking at the head from the top view. A male’s head looks like a “U” and a female’s head looks like a “V”
From my limited experience in keeping and breeding snakeheads, females have more a v shaped head that taper towards the mouth (males have a broader head) and female vent is round (male's is more cresent shaped)
Thank you for your answer.
You'll have to upgrade the tank soon because she'll need 500 gallons but for now it looks gorgeous!
Can you buy the supplies u used for this project on Amazon?
How do you keep these kind of tanks clean?
beautiful fish, very cool
Thank you for loving it.
