So here it is, brother. WrestleQuest is a one-of-a-kind experience that takes the wrestling and fantasy JRPG genres to places neither of them have gone before. Its clever writing and humorous cast puts the smackdown on the player to deliver a piledriver to others who try to compete. While some systems and design choices weigh on the experience, a ton of charm is packed in this adventure to bring this game home. And that's the bottom line because Noisy Pixel said so.

Good job with the 7 I want these devs to win
I saw these guys and the pro wrestlers at comic con don’t sleep on them they put a TON of work in this including NOT being lazy and creating THOUSANDS of pixel art for the wrestling moves as well as ways u can play that make it easier or harder and a battle system not reliant on just pushin A. They also worked with pro wrestling icons. It was dope hearing stories of sarge and jake the snake etc all who invested into this games stories! These guys are new devs and can only go up! I don’t mind ‘lengthy stories’ in my games and where that can be a complaint for one some like me that’s a blessing as knowing a story makes me more invested
They created that battle system to reward u for not just tapping A and if u get more close to perfect u can get rare finds
That art is gorgeous and thoroughly animated. The best thing about this game. I'll take this over generic squished boilerplate RPG maker game.

I wish the game fixed some of the things you talked about like making the game too easy, etc but this is so far up my alley that I'll still buy it. Absolutely love wrestling/wrestling games (been playing since Wrestlemania 2000 for N64) and retro JRPG's so it's an easy choice for me. Art style is cool too.

u can play this game right now all u gotta do is use one of your parent credit or debit card and u can play this if they found out their money is missing from their bank account just blame it on one your sibling 😃
I've seen a few people promote this lately, with their own characters being in the game. I'm wondering how many actual wrestlers or people who are wrestling adjacent are in it.
Read my comment I saw them at comic con the wrestlers are heavily involved and it was great hearing sarge and jake the snake tell stories of matches etc it was pretty dope haha
A 7 out of 10 is sure not what many people would have expected.
I'm surprised you guys gave it a 7. I've been seeing some rather low scores for this game. 7 is the highest score I've seen but besides I can't wait to try the game for myself
I am a big fan of pro-wrestling and jrpgs but I have a bad feeling about this game

It was a big mistake of the devs not releasing the game when planned. Sometimes perfection can hurt. With this review the sales will go down, many expected more from this game. I am even doubting now to buy it while it was a sure buy 2 weeks ago.
they delayed it because all your progress had the potential to be deleted. I doubt you would have wanted that over waiting a couple weeks.
@@TMGremlin that is not the reason, all the progress on multiplatform would be lost. Who cares playing from one platform to the other and to the other. Very few people.....
@@TMGremlin this could have been a fix after release, it was not a mandatory thing, but fully optional.

Oh man. I'm so bummed. This looks neat, and I'm all for RPG mechanics making their way into a wrestling game where you build up your charater. But the turn based RPG style combat kinda ruins ir for me. Usually I don't mind that style of combat at all. But I was really hoping this was going to play like a more balanced version of either NES or SNES wrestling games.

@@jczbas Maybe eventually. But there's a load of games that are higher up on my priorities now that I know more about this one. I'll hold out for a sale.
I would not spend 29.99 just to play this game either on my switch oled or steam deck this game should cost 15.99 instead
