Thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed or got soemthing out of spending your time here today. Do you have any video requests you'd like to see me do?? Thanks!
I think of you now when I'm planty thrifting! Once, they had a donation of SO many- like 5? (It was a while back) just like your style with the textured and blues- and I got all but one😅 for $10!!! I thought they meant for one, boy, was my head spinning! 😂 I agree they felt more wholesome somehow. I knew it was a curated collection, and I wanted them to stay together. My only regret was leaving one behind so as to not buy up all their pots that day!

Hi Harli! I’m fairly new to your channel. Maybe around a year of watching. I wanted to tell you that I have been loving your more vloggy content 💚 I really enjoyed the video you went around highlighting the individual pots you have in your collection. You have inspired me to find hand made pottery/pots to use for my plants. And to be more conscious about finding the right pot for the right plant. Every time I’m thrifting and find hand made pottery, I’m always checking the bottom to see initials and if it will “tell me all their life secrets” 😂 Also the heavy duty tall planter in this video is stunning! Can’t wait to see what you pair it with 😍 Thank you for being so genuine in your content and for the creative style videos you’ve been making. I am really enjoying them 💚
You can sense a person's energy in homemade items! I don't mean that in a new age way. I have thrift store quilts that just scream "somebody planned and made this". I recently found pyrex glass tart pans for saucers. Thanks for sharing your haul!
What they call Savers in the states is called Value Village here, (Canada) same company, they’re prices skyrocketed a couple years ago, thrifting isn’t the same anymore when you’re buying old preused tshirts for 12$ cents don’t thrift as much as I used too New stuff from the dollar store is way cheaper now, as far as plant pots anyway. Love us some casseroles, baked speghetti squash speghetti ❤ Never noticed how tall your fireplace mantle is, interesting choice, would keep anything up there away from lil hands for sure
Hi, love that we think alike😀 I too get my plant trays, plant pots etc. Of coarse they have to be unique, we have the same color theme for them. Now I am going to go to my thrift store Value Village ( you call it Savors). Hugs
Harli! I don't know if you made a video like this already... but can you do a motivational video on how you balance taking care of plants and also the kids? My 3rd baby is 8 mo old and I love my hobby with plants! I want to buy more, but I'm having a hard time keeping the motivation to take care of them. 😭
I love thrifting!! After a few of your thrifting videos, I decided to go out on 4th of July! I got a few small things but thanks for inspiring me to go again, I hadnt realized but I haven't been in months! Oh and great idea using those pretty crystal saucers as plant saucers, it looks so pretty!!!
The cute chunky vases can be use as prop vessels! Line with a plastic turkey bag or dollar store bathroom garbage bags, add moss, plant and stuff the top of the bag down in the container. Its the cutest way to display props.
Your hair looks absolutely DARLING, here!! And yes, the Parisian looking vase matching your other one was kismet (kudos to you for using that word, too!) Wonderful finds, enjoy:)
Harli, I know you do beautiful clay pots, but have you ever taken a wheel throwing pottery class? I think you’d be great and love it. Just imagine the pots and saucers you can make!??
Love the thrifting haul! Never thought about looking for saucers at the thrift stores, such a good idea! I also get those little felt sticky pads from the dollar store. They work great!
Use the green bean casserole recipe but substitute, broccoli and tater tots with chicken. It’s really good and you can use those French fried onions if you want but a lot of times I just use chopped onions in the Casserole and do tater tots on top.
❤ all of the places you found for you thrift haul. I think you should pot the dancing bones plant in that tall planter. I think the colored sauces all looked better than the clear shallow dishes 👍
Hey Harli, you are awesome . Thank you for all the great videos and the great plant info. What if you used 1 of those tall vases with the fish plant. Or another small leaf plant
Hi Harli, I did watch your mom's video and saw all of your things that you thrifted and really liked them and mentioned that I do have a casserole that I will need to share with you so you can try it in your casserole dish. I do love to thrift shop and sometimes I just leave when I can't find anything either. Have a great day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😂🥰💜💜💜
Tatertot casserole is my families favorite. We use hamburger but you could also use impossible burger or whatever substitute. Then after it's cooked with garlic and onion add a can of corn. Then mix up a can of cream of mushroom with milk and seasonings of your choice. In the casserole pan layer your beef mix then cream of mushroom then shredded cheese, tatertots bake until bubbly and tots are crispy then add more cheese on top and melt that. Then take it out to cool to serving temp. :) it's so easy and so good
Cream of chicken soup, one large can, cut up any meat, chicken, or pork to add to the pot. You will need a half a can of milk after you put the soup into a 3 quart bowl to cook. Mix all together and bring to about, stirring all the while. When you bring it to a boil you can add “Minute Rice” ( you can’t use regular rice. It don’t work, I tried.). Add enough yo make the soup mixture thick. I the. Turn off the heat and cover with the lid. Stirring occasionally when the rice is cooked, 5-10 minutes. It’s sooo goood!!!
The cassarole dish and side bowls are for when you serve dinner on the table your side dishes all match on the table or if you took food somewhere like tailgating they could serve as bowls for dip, like if you did Chili and did like a warm bean dip / cheese so you had a three piece set that was all oven safe. You could do all oven reheats in them as well. This is a great set for if you are taking food to someone after a new baby or someone on the mend. I'd tuck them in a cabinet for unknown events and for go a good set like that on plants for now. Good quality pottery that matches is a hard find. I'd look for one of those keeping hot food warm travel carrying bags. My Mom had a set like this and we took food to family events at parks or going to Lake Michigan.
Get a cork round thing h that you can find in a lot of plant stores where they have plastic saucers. It’s got a water proof backing with the cork on top. The cork will adsorb the water. I’ve got one under a pot that’s got a small crack in it. It kept the pot from ruining the dresser it was sitting on.
I would be worried if the dancing bones would do well in such a deep planter... that's a lot of water retention and the roots would take a long time to grow in and fill it.... You could still go for a trailing plant, but maybe something that grows deeper roots faster
@@HarliG I have put pots inside tall planters on top of something like a soup takeaway box or something. The space would also allow a little airflow underneath to help keep aeration inside the pot...
For the dancing bones and the other tall planter you got, would you put the plants directly in the pot, or put them in a smaller plastic pot and then slip that in? I don't know why, but whenever I plant something I worry about how I'll get it back out, like a repot weekly or something. 🤣 It all looks great, and I added Dancing Bones to my wishlist. I love the mix of plant and 'spooky'. My two fave things. 😂
@@__JillSt.Clair__ I usually plant directly into them! So far haven’t had an issue with having to destroy a planter to get a plant out 🤞 I do worry about that too a bit
@@Lina_Pina that’s what I’ve been leaning toward! My one worry is there is already like 6 different kinds of wood around the place so then I was like maybe just white so now I go back & forth daily 😂
Hi!! im not sure if someone commented about this, but please don't store onions and potatoes next to each other!!! the potatoes will speed up the ripening/rotting process for the onions :(
Thank you so much for watching! I hope you enjoyed or got soemthing out of spending your time here today.
Do you have any video requests you'd like to see me do?? Thanks!
Harli, you could paint a wall and sit and chat while it dries and I’d watch it.🤣 I just love your fun personality!❤
Lol 👍💜💚💜

Love this little video while I procrastinate getting work done. ;) I'd love to see you pot up those tall planters.

Had seen the thrift haul on your Moms channel as well & enjoyed seeing how you styled them. Awesome haul!
Love these types of videos. I need to look for a savers here. Ty Harli. Time to go thrifting 😊

A THRIFT STORE HAUL ON A MONDAY?!?! What ever did we do to deserve such a gift?!?! Thanks Harli!
Great haul. I do most my planters from op shop here in NZ
The big vase you found you could put a layer of really coarse perlite in the bottom. Several inches to give you drainage. Then you can plant directly.
