Deontay Wilder Is the only pro fighter I have ever seen that didn't ever improve. We never saw the evidence of realization that his skill set was incomplete and that he was working on being a better boxer. He was a knock out artist who became champ. I couldn't imagine him out pointing a skilled in shape boxer. Manny Steward Called it in 2012. He only mentioned Deontay But said that Tyson Fury had the skills and personality to be Champ. I personally believe Ruiz could've beat all these guys but he didn't want it enough to stay in shape and stay on the path to improvement.

With that said, Wladamir was almost 40 when he fought Fury, and he looked terrible in his previous fight with Jennings. Wlad was already on his way out. Also; Fury-Wlad was more of a technical bout, Fury barely landed anything on Wlad, people were shocked that Wlad lost but fact is at the time if anyone lasted 12 rounds with Wlad they praised the looser. Judges had the fight close, i had the fight close, only people i hear saying Fury gave Wlad a clinic are people who did not watch the fight. Fury also gassed in the end and Wlad was going after him throwing bombs at the end, but too little too late
Is true Heavy Weights is the shit back in the days....I remember wanting to see Tyson Vs Holyfield, Foreman vs Holyfield type of days...an then Roy Jones Jr came along and made it fun to watch his weight class...same goes for Oscar an then it starting getting to a point where the Smaller fighters were more exciting to watch then the Heavy Weights when all the big names like Tyson left.
