Yes, I think after all that time, the stress and fear was too much. I do think it's entirely possible that he blanked out. I've only ever had a verbal altercation with someone like that, a person who bullied everyone. One night, I just lost it and let him have hit verbally. I said some really harsh words, then told him if he ever spoke to me or my family, or came anywhere near us, "I'd...!" I don't want to post what I really said, haha, but it ended up being enough, and he stopped harassing us. But I honestly don't remember exactly what I said. I only know what people there told me. I just felt this insane heat travel through my body, and afterwards, I started shaking all over because of adrenaline rush. Every muscle in my body was tight. Everyone said that they were shocked because I'd never reacted that way to anyone. (One of my friends said that I actually scared her a little bit, haha.) But they all thought the bully deserved it.

The law enforcement in this country is more interested in going after someone with a camera on them than someone with a gun. I am from Texas, and our children died because law enforcement was too afraid to do its job. Someone has to do it. In today's world, most, not all, law enforcement, district attorneys, and judges are on the take or look at the law the way "they" interpret it. Not the way the constitution reads.

How could they just cowardly stand around and do nothing because of fear when a little girl was on the phone with the 911 operator telling them exactly where the shooter was? That is one of many failures, but it stands alone as the biggest failure for sure. My heart breaks for the families who lost loved ones, and then on top of that, finding out that the police could have stopped the shooter, but didn't act.
The loved ones of those lost there will never have peace. Look at the Sandy Hook relatives and friends who lost someone. Their grief lives on, even today. 😔

6 years ago, I was a Volunteer with my local police dept. I called the FBI because I suspected corruption. Well, my Lieutenant and Sergeant called me in for a private meeting. I was removed from the Volunteer Corps, and an email was sent to the entire police dept. saying that if I showed up to Headquarters that I would receive an Armed Police Escort. Plus, my photo was at the Front Desk. 3 months later I was vindicated when it was revealed that the longtime police computer supervisor molested 24 boys in the Police Activities League. This computer supervisor then committed suicide. Three years ago, Santa Monica paid $42mil to the 24 victims. I then contacted the new Police Chief and 2 police friends trying to clear 'my good name.' I was told that the L.A. County Sheriffs confiscated these computers. Now, an additional 61 'victims' have come forward, claiming they too were molested.
