About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

“You mean just going there because I’m invited, that’s rude?” That is so Larry David. And I agree!
You can really tell Larry wrote this episode
I agree with him, it’s a hassle why bother if that’s the case
Some episodes the Larry really shows in George
Lol I was gonna say.. after watching Curb then going back and watching Seinfeld, you can catch all the Larry Davidisms
I'm reading this with LD's voice in my head.
i love how George challenge every kind of society rules with or without the fact of him being cheap
Everyone & everything is funny about this show except Jerry!
@@Amit-pn2vw yet he's the billionaire 🤑
@@Amit-pn2vwI don’t know man I always found Jerry’s instigating and sarcasm to be pretty funny
@Amit-pn2vw At least he's not annoying. He may not be very funny compared to other characters, but I don't mind when he's on screen.
That's because he portrays Larry David.
It's exactly how Larry is playing in Curb your Enthusiasm.
"Why don't we get them a couch"
I think George made Kramer break character with that laugh
Yeah, I think you're right. I just noticed it too. Kramer's laugh is so natural, and I love how they all kept going with the scene -- it makes you believe that 4 friends really are on their way to a dinner party.
Is that what that laugh was?? I was wondering that.
I believe you're right. Such a natural laugh
I don't think it was in the script.
Rare Michael Richards crackup for sure.
If I invited someone to my house and they brought Ring Dings and Pepsi, I’d make it a weekly tradition
Only an alpha brother would say that.
Here in where I live in we get bring a box of traditional sweets (Not like chocolate or candies. More like cannoli, baklava or eclair) and a bottle of Coke and Soda. You don't bring alcohol when the person who invited you has children. You get something that children can also consume.
Also sometimes you get quality snacks and nuts, or homemade cookies and cupcakes, or sometimes you just get something like a tablecloth (yep. Traditional tableclothes with runes and figures on them.)
For example, last week we visited our professor who got sick and i brought nettle bread swirls (yes, google it), honey-ginger cookies (just honey cookies with a little ginger on them, not a special recipe) and and mixed herbal tea.
Nettle is good for heart and when cooked right it tastes like spinach.
@@hannibalburgers477where are you from?
Would have to nickname him and kramer ring ding and pepsi
Just between you and me, I'm really excited about the ring dings and the pepsi
The way George looks at Kramer after he tells he has to pay always cracks me up.
I was about the write the same comment. Jason Alexander is the king of nonverbal acting.
He always has to pay for everyone and gets screwed in the end. Remember in The Movie, he bought all their movie tickets and not a single one of them had change to pay them back. Also, he had to pay for Joe Mayo's massage chair after everybody else backed out.
@@Cookieboy70when you put it that way, sounds like he's got a pretty good reason to be "cheap" lol
@@nthgth Oh yeah, also how could I forget when he bought all that fruit from Joe's fruit stand for Jerry and Kramer and they didn't give him any money lol.
@@ThatVeryArtGaland that’s why it’s a total sham that Jason never got an emmy
0:54 Jerry buttoning up his coat to George "You know you're gettin' to be an annoying little chore yourself." 🤣🤣🤣
😂
I love how the guy at the newsstand can change $100 with a less expensive purchase than the guy at the liquor store. Always cracked me up
Its so good
@@macadamia12It's hilarious! You just don't get it the joke. 😂
@@macadamia12 ask yourself this, who would you EXPECT to be able to break a hundred better?
@@macadamia12 How old are you?
Kids don't even understand the money joke at all.
Jason Alexander’s panicked “don’t shout out that we got a hundred dollar bill!” is peak sitcom acting.
That scene was before mayor Giuliani
“Pppl will be jumping out of windows” lol
Should do that nowadays and see the results
@@respectdawildo_danjones508Too soon 😔
I love that Kramer laughs at Georges couch comment!
1:04
George bringing Pepsi and Ring-Dings would fit right in with Ricky Bobby’s family dinner.
Sweet Baby Jesus
I like to picture Jesus in a Tuxedo T-shirt, cause it says, like, I wanna be formal, but I'm here to party, too.
George wouldn’t last five minutes though, they would come at him like a spider monkey on Festivus
"Why don't we get them a couch." Kramers reaction is great.
The fabric of society is very complex, George. 😂😂
1:17 George " hey ring dings are better than anything you're gonna get at a bakery."
Kramer "ooo I like ringdings."
😅😅😅
George and Kramer are an underrated pairing
George's coat looks like its digesting a small animal
You sold us a hair with a cake around it. 😂😂😂
There are some absolute top-tier George performances on Seinfeld but this episode, for me, takes the cake. This takes you on a comprehensive tour of George, and every second of his performance is GOLD!
Why does it take the cake, why not ring-dings?
@@PrinygodGOOD ONE!😂😂😂😂
@@Prinygod You can't celebrate with ring-dings and Pepsi.
You're right. This is definitely a George episode😂😂😂😂
You like saying Gortex, don't you?
I think this is one the most recognizable Larry David George parts of the entires series
His jacket looks like a marble rye 😮😂😂😂
Their dialogue just flows like poetry
news stand items: $6.75
wine: $13.05
total: $19.80
George: I'm in over $20 now
Nowadays the prices are through the roof
Reminds me of my ex. You never bring anything when you come over!?
It was an estimate.
That would be $50 or more now…
@@user-cb2lz8yy9s more like 275 squid
When George says "Why don't we get them a couch" that was it for me right there 😭😭
George would be definitely happier if he lived in the province of Quebec…
“Ici, c’est Pepsi!” 😂
You from there? I m from Montreal oui oui c est Pepsi 😂
Love Montreal
Need to learn more French
@@volsdeep moi aussi
George should have bought a marble rye. It's much more fashionable than a random bottle of wine
Exactly what I was thinking! and his father would have been proud
A cinnamon babka.
It's more cost effective to mug an old bag for one of those.
I loved the part where Jerry and Elaine were beating George's jacket to see if he could feel anything.
Where did George get the coat?
@@valeriecalorie7115 Is that where he got it?
@@artsmith103 at the shop
@@andrasszabo1570 Actually a friend of George's father got a deal.
BIG COAT! BIG COAT! 🤣🤣 bummer that part didn't make the clip, but the whole episode is great so I'm sure it was a tough decision...
"You better be careful with that thing. You'll start a war."
I was looking forward to that line 😅
Alexander and Richards were comedy gold together
I would love if someone showed up with Pepsi and ring dings 😂 I would definitely invite them again lol
With that coat, George looks like he's one helmet away from going into orbit.
4:42 Jason was amanzing in Seinfeld!🤣😂
“You’re telling me that wine is better than Pepsi?? Huh (snorts) there’s no way wine is better than Pepsi” 😂😂
Elaine is played so naturally by Julia in these early seasons. Character was different in the later seasons.
All of the characters became over exaggerated cartoon versions and less and less likeable by the last seasons
George has always been my favorite character. It's not just his lines, it's his delivery.😂
Get a life bro
George is right Pepsi is better than Wine 🍷 😂
THE LOOK HE GIVES KRAMER WHEN HE TELLS HIM HE HAS NO WALLET LOL
WHERE’S YOUR WINE?!? GET OUT!!!
“I don’t even drink wine, I drink Pepsi 🫲”
4:15 George freaking out over the magazine "AMPUTEES!!" absolutely great.
"I know this is going to sound like a crazy fantasy, but every word of this story is true".
George’s reaction at 4:48 😂
The couch line hit Kramer and I at the same time.
This episode was 12 out of 10. Pure masterpiece.
AHA! The guy at the news stand is the same guy on the park bench when the bird flies into Elaine’s big head.
Wait. The letters weren't real?? So that kinda stuff DOESN'T happen to everyone? So I'm wasting my time delivering pizzas?
No way wine is better than Pepsi! Lmfaooo
I concur 😊
Always love Jerry's cereal library.
😂
Can’t believe it’s been over 30 years since I started watching this show. Such great writing and comedy and good acting!
I just love watching George in that jacket.
George is correct, being expected to bring something is RIDICULOUS. I never take anything and even if I do its a big bottle of Pepsi 😇
"No Way wine is better than Pepsi!!"
It been so many years and I still pop at the ring dings and Pepsi stuff
Larry David just shines through George
What about the part where they bust up the wine 🍷 rack?? So funny 😂😂.
0:14 that is an excellent point
I will take your 8 dollarest bottle of wine please.
George snorts
The liquor store owner should have been attacked by wolves
A liquor store couldn’t change a $100. Now that is funny.
I love that kramer was driving but didnt have his wallet
I just love how they paired up the mooch and the cheapskate together to go get the wine.
George's jacket 🤣
There’s a George in everyone of us
The way Kramer fell 😂
You know, Elaine is angry at George at the end of the episode for being late, but it was her that said, “Get whine and cake.”
This was on the double parker. You can’t really blame her for being angry considering everything they went through at the bakery. For all she knew, George and Kramer were taking their time getting the wine when they probably would have been waiting on them to get the cake.
Kramer - anybody got change for a 100
1:52 it’s hot in here ☠️☠️ cuz he got that jacket on lmao usually a liquor store is freezing
that liquor store guy was real aggressive haha
100 bucks back then was about 300 now days
"No way wine is better than Pepsi"
The most true fact ever
Coca Cola*
Imagine being able to get a newspaper, chewing gum,a chocolate bar and a book all for 6 dollars.
Well this was 30 years ago
I love this scene!
I luv the snore when gorge laughs🤣
Ayyy George 😂
My best episode ever 😂😂😂
Kramer - oh I get by
George:...but my friend here has hypothermia.
Kramer: HyPoThErMiAaa
big coat !!! you cut the best part
I agree more with George here than in almost any other place
George has a point. Same thing with birthdays during the school term. I gotta bring a cake and drink for everybody but I get nothing
1:30 he went so dad and he nailed it!
George has a point though, if you’ve been invited why should you be obliged to do anything or bring anything unless the host actually asks you to? You’re the guest not a catering service.
The fabric of society is very complex, Vince.
It’s called being nice. “If someone trips and falls in front of me why should I be obligated to help them up? I’m a civilian not their family member”
@@Churrowhisperer i love how disconnected and out of context your example is from my point 😂
@@Churrowhisperer I am sorry, but that didn't make any sense. The dinner host isn't getting injured. And if they don't want free meal eaters at their place, don't invite them. I actually see George's point too, but George is still coming from a place of being cheap. Doesn't make him completely wrong though. I could care less if someone brings food, if I invite them over for dinner. I probably prefer they didn't TBH. I don't want to feel obligated to eat/drink whatever they bring, and I don't want them to feel the same.
They kind of showed this with the Ross's and the Costanza's. Imagine everyone bringing food, then you have to eat it all just to be 'polite'. And the Costanza's were fuming because they never served their bread, which was actually by accident. I love how the show throws it back at us, how stupid this really is.. Because it's pretty stupid actually when you think of it. Hey, everyone has to bring something, then the host has to serve it. Who wants dinner party's with these unwritten rules. Just dumb...
I agree, and it saves a lot awkwardness, by just not bringing anything... If you're inviting someone to dinner, and keeping tabs if the Smith's are bringing something. That is just lame.. Don't invite people over then. Everyone sitting down, feeling obligated to eat what so and so brought, makes dinner party's awkward anyways...That was actually the point of this episode... I think George was actually right, despite it coming from his selfish view point. Still, he's right, you shouldn't be obligated to bring something. That is just STUPID. How often do eat something, just to be nice at one of these because someone brought it, when in reality you don't really want it. lol
Where’s your wine? Get out !!
Well. TV sucks for the time being, so back to the classics!

@@chriskrausesmovieHe's talking about inflation I guess.
0:28 I don’t even drink wine 🍷. I drink Pepsi 😂
There just wasn’t enough scenes with these two. They were easily the funniest people on the show. Their backs must have hurt after all of the seasons because they carried the damn show…
pepsi and ring dings and kramer at the newstand just funny
Seinfeld still is and will always be funny cuz of the group of people and the writers of the show if I were to give them a grade it would be AAAAA .
