Its a crime that Jason Alexander never won an Emmy.
its a crime that jason could never find a successful show to star in....he could do everything..he's a fantastic dancer
Absolutely
Duckman should of won an Emmy.
Not when you realize Kramer's actor won them all instead, it's just fair
David Hyde Pryce from Frasier used to steal all the Emmys during the time Alexander was nominated.

He should have told him the truth about trying to impress the woman from the Tourist Bureau. Play Now and Krueger Industries just wasn't the same or funny. Still disappointed the Independent George and the Relationship George speech is not on this video. That's his greatest speech, IMO.
“When you look annoyed all the time, people think that you're busy.” - George Costanza. I've taken that epic piece of advice, and used it throughout my career. Everytime someone asks me for help, they always start with "sorry to bother you, i know how busy you are" due to George Costanza's genius. PS: I'm never busy.
I just generally walk AND sit around like that when I don't want to be bothered. And it works beautifully!!!😌
Thanks George Costanza!!!! 🤝🏼
I did the same thing. It’s like no one at our jobs watch Seinfeld to know that we’re acting
W
Yeah I know people that do this, but they don’t do it because of Costanza… smh they’re just trolls.
I have used it since the episode aired. It's subconscious at this point. Ingrained.
Aren't we all George Constanza in our own way.
Yes but without the close friends and hot dates.

George>Elaine>Jerry>Kramer
Because on the show, George was the "loser" of the group. He worked several jobs, left on high notes, worked for the New York Freaking Yankees and was the most relatable of any of the main 4. Also, Jason was by far the most talented actor. Incredible timing and pace.
Agree
Kramer was wild and crazy. George is just crazy. Both are funny.
I love how George is supposed to be a loser when in fact he dates like gazillion women during the seasons.
what makes him a looser is how he keeps screwing it. what makes him a winner is he keeps trying no matter what.
Shagged multiple women, go back and rewatch the series maybe and not talk out of your ass
Jerry's girlfriends were always hotter though :)
This view is incorrect. George is not intended to be a loser. I think more accurately he is self loathing - and one would be suprised someone so self loathing is the type to talk/date to many women. Also more prone to emotional outbursts. Both a funny contrast to Jerry. George is based off of Larry David.

As every year passes by, I come to realize more and more that I am George Constanza in more ways than I thought.
I love whenever George is embarrassed.

“Doing what?”

The genus of this show was the adult and sexual references in such a subtle way.
“He got two inches from. There. . . I think it moved”
“I think that you think that a certain something is not all that it should be. But in fact, it is all that it should be and more!”
Jason Alexander is a very underrated actor. He has brilliant comedic timing.

+dickslap37 So what is exactly do you disagree on?
+Ahmad Merhebi That he can only play variations of the George Costanza character
+Prairielander He's actually very unfunny in real life, like Michael Richards. Jerry and Louise were comedians, but those two were genuinely good actors.
Moldren didn't actually say that... he just said he was typecast since Seinfeld, not that he wasn't able to play other characters, so he was actually agreeing with him.

The ULTIMATE Georgeism!😄
George made this sitcom, I swear he’s the most hilarious because he is the most relatable and his acting can’t be imitated
Yeah anyone who says he's not relatable is lying to themselves and hard.
He is relatable even if hes a jerk. But the thing about Seinfeld is they are all jerks! Jerry, Kramer and Elaine too! A lot of people are like that even in todays times where everyone and their grandma want to be super progressive. Thats what makes this Show great. It portrays people as they are: selfish, shallow and flawed but also likeable and vulnerable. There is a Costanza in all of us and we have to keep him under Control everyday. The ying and the Yang. Worlds are colliding!
@@khoroshoorange Yes exactly! I think that's why this show will probably forever stand the test of time.

The thing that always cracked me up with George was he was always chasing after the woman he couldn't have, and obsessing over them. But the women who actually fell for him, he would find some minor issue with their behaviour or the way they looked and would end the relationship over it. For a jobless guy living with his parents, he was still incredibly fussy.
that might have been the most relatable thing to me about costanza, i think we obsess over those women because we can't have them, we even want to be hated by them because it makes them even less obtainable, it's brilliant
This could also describe his acclaimed performance in Shallow Hal.

When I watched this late night as a kid I thought Kramer was the funniest character. Now I realize George was absolutely hands down the best. He glued this whole sitcom together. We can all relate to this poor guy.
When I was younger I related to Jerry, but as I got older I started relating more and more to George 😅
That because Kramers humour is very juvenile. Fall and hit your head kinda humour. It goes home with kids but George is fucking genius.
Jerry was the nucleus, but George was the most important character. Take him out and you’ve got the least left.
I always felt George (Jason) was the MVP of the series, but I don't want to take away from Kramer/Richards. Really, it was an unbelievable blend of almost perfect writing and acting.
Kramer makes children laugh because of his slapstick, physical comedy. Kids love that. But as you get older, become an adult and face adult situations, George just becomes more relatable.

I love how every other character is better than Seinfeld but we all know that none of this would've happened without Seinfeld
I think it shows the weird genius of Jerry Seinfeld. Someone said he knew himself, more than anyone else, that he wasn't the best actor and he needed to surround himself by better actors while he played the straight man (meaning the lead that is the main, but least interesting character, it has nothing to do with being gay or straight). And he was right. He gets like 400 million a year of this show. I hear he's not the easiest to work with.
@@demonalivefornow9680 I agree. Seinfeld is something else, his confidence alone is charming
