Nice DC07 Clic. I have the exact one in for refurbishment, but the screw thread in the cyclone snapped so had to use a different cyclone handle. By the way, didn't these have the pink tools?

amazing colors and performance! how would you say dc07 cyclones compare to dc14 cyclones, which one do you think is the better design?
I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🤩 I generally prefer a DC14, the cyclones never clog in those, they aren’t upside down like on the DC07, the pre motor filter is larger and also better sealed than on the DC07 too!
I think the DC14 may be a little better overall

Be honest with me. Do you think that these are better performance wise than the V15 and Gen5? Despite really liking the V15 now, I still feel there is nothing like a nice good evening plug in vacuum cleaner. Another excellent video.
Honestly, as much as I love the DC07, they have super high suction and airflow, the newer cordless Dysons clean carpets better due to their better cleanerhead design - more agitation, wider diameter brushbar making them ideal for thicker carpets and they stick to the floor, even on lower suction modes! They have better filtration too, I’ve never seen any dust leak past the HEPA filter of a cordless V8/10/11/15
And the brushbars are motorised too, unlike older Dysons with rubber belts that stretch out after a while and reduce the speed and power of the brushbar
Also the brushbars of a modern cordless Dyson have plastic bumps in them to beat the carpet like a vintage Hoover, the bristles don’t have any gaps inbetween them and there’s no soleplate bars so the carpet can be lifted up into the brushbar as the brushbar vibrates the grit out

@@parwaz7861I need to let you know that the dust bypasses my V8 Hepa filter and the bin has a little gap at the bottom on my he lip that allows dust to seep out. These issues are addressed with the V10 onwards and they have a better filter set up.
Wow! I never seen that happen on a V8 before, but I have with the V6 Absolutes, their filters leaked a lot of dust through
@@parwaz7861I think it might be because foam gaskets are not as reliable, but im not a filter engineer so its just a guess.

Also I forgot to ask but Dyson claimed Gen5 had 262 air watts now they say 280 since Samsung came out with a more powerful suction machine. I know Dyson do make false claims. Do you believe it’s suddenly 280 air watts and how can Dyson claim this suddenly? Is it due to aptitude?
Interesting! I believe it would be the same motor, maybe they’ve tweaked it a little to spin faster?
The V8 and V7 motors seem so sound the same just like the V11 and V15 sound the same, but the V15 has way more power than the V11
I know a friend of mine who had a V11, the older version and he had to get a new motor unit for it - the newer one he got seems to be less powerful that the original, which I found interesting because the V11 isn’t as premium as they first came out, I feel like maybe this has been done because Dyson want to push the V15 and Gen 5 more than the V11, with the V10 now being discontinued I presume the V11 needs to be a more basic model but still a significant enough step up from the V8
This is just my guess anyway
