    I was binge watching your videos today and I ran into this video. You said about clear quartz with green dye and guess what I just recently bought one from shopee because it looks so beautiful I asked seller and said it was MOSS QUARTZ ☹️☹️ but watching your video it looks like dyed clear quartz 😢

  • @bee.dibsk222

    This is good to know. I actually bought 1 green phantom quartz from Chinese seller in one of famous online shopping platf. The color of one I bought was dull. It has garden inside but it was very dark green, almost to brown color.. Some of the beads has cracks inside too. Tho I was given certificate , but I had a hunch it wasn't real. However basing from your reference of legit green phantom, maybe the one I bought was real... I don't know anymore 😅 but the beads has cracks inside. Not sure if it was normal to have cracks inside.
    Thanks for sharing your thoughts anyway

    • @KarenHuiCrystals
      @KarenHuiCrystals  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you. It's my pleasure to sure. Crystal with cloud and cracks inside, mostly are lower quality. If your phantom quartz bracelet is not near the strands that I showed in the video, then yours may be natural. Or you can watch my previous video in the wholesale market or about products, I have filmed the natural ones.

      @@bee.dibsk222 Thank you for the suggestion. In fact, there were fake tourmaline a few years ago ( made with clear quartz, with color-dyed), but it seems like hard to find any lately, I will try my best to find, haha. About the grading, I had a video about strawberry quartz and aquamarine grading, for tourmaline beads are mostly the same.

  • @thecebuanohotelier
    @thecebuanohotelier Před 3 lety +1

    hi karen very nice video
    at the part 02:45-03:00 ....that pricing...is that the actual average price for real crystals sold directly from manufacturers and that the prices go up after middle men and retailers? or that price range of 2usd to 3usd per bracelet is for a fake one? im trying to understand the original factory price of a typical genuine bracelet per strand whether its natural or dyed as long its a genuine one and not glass :)
    i appreciate so much your response in advance :)

    • @KarenHuiCrystals
      @KarenHuiCrystals  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi, thank you for the question. It's kind of sensitive while we talk about pricing here. The pricing at the part, is for middle man and retailers, if they order more, the price will be even less. Even fake crystals and color-dyed crystals can be at a high price too. For these 'green phantom', they are made with really low-quality clear quartz with green color-dyed and heat-treated (that's how they fill in the color), so it's cheap. But you can not say they are fake, they are real clear quartz. But not real phantom quartz.

    • @KarenHuiCrystals
      @KarenHuiCrystals  Před 3 lety +1

      @@KarenHuiCrystals Hi, thanks for replying 😊 No, I meant other crystals. How can we check if it's a glass or real crystal beads? Is there any markings on the surface of the beads or something?

    • @KarenHuiCrystals
      @KarenHuiCrystals  Před 3 lety

      @@Afiqa3004 Oh, first is to check the cold feeling from natural crystals. The second is the color, clarity, and weights. Honestly, it's not easy for consumers to differentiate fake or real just by looking at the crystals. This requires years of experience. Or, the people who are sensitive to healing energies would have the feeling of natural ones. There would be no energy within fake crystals.
