HDObservations : Black Sea Hare (4K UHD)

The Black Sea Hare lives in the Northeast Pacific Coast off California & Baja California, including the Sea of Cortez. This is the largest known species of Sea Slug, growing to over 39 inches in length and weighing in excess of 31 lbs. This species feeds almost exclusively on Brown Algae, while its close relative the California Sea Hare lives on mostly red algae. This allows the two to coexist without too much competition for food.
