☆ The Life of Oats | Christmas Cookies and Straw Stars ☆

This summer there was an oat field behind the house. I remember it fondly, it looked beautiful and golden. And I thought about all the things you can make with oats. In the video, oat cookies are baked and straw stars are made to decorate the Christmas tree.

Ingredients:
■ oat christmas wreaths
60 g unsalted butter
1 egg yolk
35 g powdered sugar
1 g salt
1 tsp. ground vanilla pods
1 tsp. ground orange zest
90 g oat flour
20 g almond flour
Lemon icing, rosemary needles, red pearls, sugar
Preparation:
1. Mix the softened butter with the other ingredients until a dough has formed.
2. Place the dough on a piece of baking paper and roll out to a thickness of about 8 mm.
3. Place the dough in the fridge for a quarter of an hour.
4. Cut out wreaths and bake the cookies at 170°C for 15 minutes.
5. Leave the cookies to cool and then spread with lemon icing. Decorate with rosemary needles and sugar pearls.
