I so miss Huell Howser I met him at a restaurant in downtown Palm Springs about a year or so before he died he was truly a gentleman.. I grew up in the Pasadena area of California and have worked with some Armenians over the years and I’ve always loved the entrepreneurial spirit of the Armenian community.. Such Family oriented people.. 👍🏼👍🏼
The world is just not the same without this man. His positive energy is missed.

I had a good friend in high school that was Armenian, Ricard Agajanian. I visited his house often and I loved their food, pita bread, string cheese and other Armenian dishes. Wonderful people and great family !

The family i worked for in 1981-82 in high school owned a hafbra and a pita bakery. They also made beerocks. Yummy

The owner of the dry cleaners is from Aleppo, Syria? Yikes, I can only imagine what the past couple of years have been like for her and her family. At least they got out and seem to be doing alright in LA.

None of the employees at the pita factory looked very happy.
Making tons of bread dough and baking it every day doesn't inspire exhibitions of joy.
She had her hair exposed the whole time some people got some hair in their bread for shure

I have no religious affiliation but love history and over 300 years (11th to 13th centuries) of Christians (The crusades) slamming the Holy Land, Jews and Muslims, does NOT make Christians any better than any other past or modern "totalitarian, cruel and backwards" religious ideology. We have -In God We Trust- on our currency, so every time we bomb the hell out of anyone it is the same as a crusade, for "god" since economic motivations- (cold hard cash) are the reason for the conflicts in the first place. I am sure that most Syrians regardless of religious beliefs are fine people, it is just a few bad eggs are making the restlook bad.

We are not conducting war in the middle east because of Christianity, so why are you lying? It's just more political jockeying trash (with Russia mainly, still). In fact, the American support for the Syrian rebellion created the power vacuum in which genuine Islam, in the form of IS, could grow outside the oppression of the dictator which is the only thing that ever keeps real Islam in check.
